What a weekend! In case you were living under a rock, last night was our Xbox 360 Community Playdate with Modern Warfare 2. We kicked asses and took names for over 4 hours straight on Xbox Live and had blast the entire time! We’re all a little drowsy this morning after staying up late, so take some time to catch up on anything you might have missed last week. Oh, and count your money so you can buy Left 4 Dead 2 and Assassin’s Creed 2 tomorrow.

I know some of us had an intense weekend. I got pictures of Scuba passed out while I was painting my front hallway. Keith spent time at the Eurogamer Expo and we all saw Halloween come and go. Get some coffee and donuts because this week is going to be a good one.

I’m still hurting this morning from a crazy Saturday night. Some friends came over for the UFC pay-per-view and we tied one on. After about 18-20 drinks and shots, I spent all Sunday feeling like I got hit by a truck. I’m still not fully recovered, but it’s time to get back to work. While I try to figure out where I am, check out anything you might have missed last week.

I’m in hardcore recovery mode this morning. Steve made the trip up to Loot Ninja HQ this weekend and suffice it to say we both got quite intoxicated. Going to a brewery at 3pm for a few hours is a great way to start a day of drinking and debauchery. While we didn’t get in any gaming, we yelled at the TV quite a bit during the Yankees playoff game. All in all, a damn good time. So while we try to get back into the coherence, catch on anything you might have missed last week.

It’s going to be a busy week in gaming with the release of both Uncharted 2 and Brutal Legend on Tuesday. We’re right in the thick of the Holiday release season, so strap in for some hardcore play sessions. Between traveling early last week and spending the weekend on Long Island visiting family, I haven’t gotten much gaming done this week. I did finish the ODST campaign with Scuba on Live, which was a good time. I jumped into Final Fantasty VII on the PSP again, which is always a good time. This week should be a different story, with a bunch of big games hitting my desk. We’ll also be firing up the podcast again this week, now that our recording equipment (aka my MacBook Pro) is back from repair. So strap in folks, it’s gonna be a fun ride.

It was a long week at Loot Ninja HQ without my MacBook Pro, but I’m happy to share that it’s back and working smooth. Apple even hooked me up with Snow Leopard, which was a pleasant surprise. Now that I have it back, I’m off to San Francisco to for some interviews and hands on time with a few things which I’ll be able to tell you later in the week. Don’t be too harsh on everyone while I’m gone. While I’m currently in the air, why not check back on anything you might have missed last week.

Football is in full effect here in the States and that took up most of my weekend. I sat in my living room most of Sunday with my laptop and Blackberry checking fantasy stats and football pools. Scuba’s recovering from a 3 day bachelor party in Atlantic City and Merrie is enjoying her time home after being out at EA the end of last week. We’re going to have a big week coming up with reviews and news, so kick back with a hot cup of coffee and get ready to rock.
