I’m still not sold on DC Universe Online. Do I like the concept? Yes. Did I like City of Heroes? Yes. But I’m not sure how much longevity this title will have on the PS3. And with an MMO, longevity is key. While we ponder that, check out a developer walkthrough from Comic Con. Part 2 after the jump.
Condemned was one of the seemingly overlooked Xbox 360 launch titles. The horror genre hasn’t been done much in other ways this generation, so a sequel to the very well received game is welcome.
Here’s a developer walkthrough of some of the new features in Condemned 2.
At the Penny Arcade Expo (better known as PAX), gamers got a chance to see a developer walkthrough of Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness. This two part video shows character creation, the opening cinematic, and some gameplay.
I’m honestly not sure why they made this an initiative based RPG (not turn based, as pointed out by the developer in the second part of the video). I would have expected an action/adventure type of game, which probably would sell more. I’ll be interested to see some more gameplay as development progresses. I’m sure it’s got a great story, but the gameplay could be iffy.
We brought you the first 2 parts of the Crysis developer walkthrough from E3, now we bring you part 3. It’s too bad I only use a laptop these days, because there’s no way my Dell laptop (or coming Macbook Pro) will run this thing very well.
