For those of you who may not know who Olivia Munn is, she is the hot television personality on G4TV’s, Attack of the Show.
Watch her as she gears up for her October Complex photo shoot, I have to say that she is looking pretty hot in those Halloween outfits and the final Chun Li costume looks very authentic.
I think my favorite is the librarian costume, I am just saying.
Remember the original WiiFit girl that got taped by her boyfriend playing with the WiiFit and shaking her ass? Well she is getting back at her boyfriend for doing this by making him go on national TV and drop his drawers and shake his ass. Yes very disturbing indeed, but watch as this man loses his manhood on national television and the hens on the Tyra Bank’s Show cackle like schoolgirls.
The good folks over at Blizzard are really pushing people to pick up World of Warcraft by having refer a friend programs, free usage if you get AT&T high speed internet and now if you watch BlizzCon on pay per view you can get a free polar bear mount. Not only can you get the mount for free, but if you sign up for DIRECTV you can get the event free as well, so if you don’t have cable yet this could be a sweet deal.
DIRECTV has just announced further details for their pay per view package of BlizzCon coverage, and that the special promotion offering it free with a new subscription is now open. New DIRECTV subscribers in the US who sign up for DIRECTV by September 30 through www.blizzard.directv.com or 800-728-9375 will receive the package for free, while existing DIRECTV customers will be able to order it for $39.95 beginning on September 28.
So you decided that playing games on your Nintendo DS just isn’t good enough anymore, well grab a TV tuner and watch the tube instead. Looks like Japan is getting an interesting device that will allow you to watch TV channels on your DS, I like the rabbit ear extension. From the looks of it this is going to have access to what it can pick up from the antennas, which means the signal will be weak at best, they should have went with an internet style TV channel similar to what AT&T now has, but lets see if this even comes stateside.
Everyone likes to poke fun at GTA and MADtv is no different. Here they do a skit about a family playing the newest board game, GTA, which includes guns and drugs, not to mention songs by Phil Collins. Not a terrible skit, best part was the girl taking out the flamethrower and setting her family a blaze.
Sweet crunchy corn taste that comes from a monkey on your breakfast table, yum! I don’t even recall seeing this at the supermarket or on TV, but the commercial is golden. Barrels of fun for breakfast for the whole family, the cereal iteslf looks like a knockoff of Captain Crunch. Nintendo needs to make more game inspired cereals, I am thinking a Resident Evil cereal should go over well.
So you say you want your Xbox TV do you? Well get ready becasue here it comes.
Microsoft, seeking to expand offerings on its Xbox 360 console, has reached an agreement with a company headed by Peter Safran, the veteran Hollywood producer and talent manager, to produce original shows for distribution on the system.
That is right, looks like MS is trying to make some short films to distribute over Xbox Live. The genres and range of media are pretty wide spread, but it looks like it is set for the majority of gamer’s at the early onset, don’t think you will get many “House Hunter” shows the first time around.
In an interview at his office in Los Angeles last week, Mr. Safran said his first round of programs would all be scripted, as opposed to reality shows, and would probably run under 10 minutes. He said he planned initially to focus on genres, like comedy and horror, that appeal to the Xbox 360 audience, which is heavily concentrated from the ages of 14 to 34, and tends to be more male than female. The first shows are expected to be available to viewers by the fall.
Interesting to see if main stream actors sign up for these as well or it will be reduced to more episodes of web based comedies and the like? It will be interesting to see the direction it takes but I have to wonder if this content will be provided for free or become another paying service?
I came across this monitor and the concept is pretty sweet, but in practice how can you justify having this huge monitor on your desk just to play FPS games. From the look of this monitor it is pretty deep which won’t exactly be a great selling point, although it does give you that peripheral aspect of the game. I don’t think the curvature is enough to make it actually feel like your in the game, if you sit far enough away from this thing it will be almost the same as a widescreen TV. Looks pretty interesting, but I just don’t think this will catch on.
Just released are three of the Japanese TV spots for Super Smash Bros. Brawl, making us all drool even more for this game. Giant Bowser looks to be like a force to be reckoned with! Pretty funny that at the end of the spot they have a picture of someone swinging a Wii Remote, wonder what it says? I am guessing, if you lose at SSBB please refrain from striking your friends with Wii remote!
I can also listen to the narrator say “Smashy Brothers Zex” all day!
Hit the jump for the other two Japanese TV spots. Read More »
