Review: TNA Wrestling (iPhone/iPod Touch)

Buying mobile games is often a tricky experience. You often get what you pay for and when games are only a few bucks, you get a game worth just that. TNA Wrestling is a very good buy for what they are asking, which is 5 bucks.  Any wrestling game fan knows the bevy of controls that are required and when the iPhone games only have really the screen to press, how would this ever work. TNA is not so much a wrestling game as it is a RPG. Yeah, it’s turn based and it is a good time.

Review: TNA iMPACT! (Xbox 360)

The wrestling industry has made some huge changes over the past few years that have both benefited the sport, but have hurt it at the same time. As the WWE grew, it acquired much of the competition. WCW and ECW are now apart of the WWE and most if not all of the talent came with it. This allows for dream matches that were not possible when there were two Monday night shows. Who would not have wanted to see Goldberg fight Stone Cold? As always, there are some dissenters and TNA has emerged as a worthy adversary. Jeff Jarrett started up the organization in 2002 when his career with McMahon had come to an end. Slowly but surely he has acquired “castaways” from the WWE and made a very entertaining product and a nice change of pace to the WWE. This is their first attempt at gaming.

TNA: Impact Trailer

Not content with leaving WWE with the only wrestling video game, TNA: Impact is set to drop a wrestling title of their own on all next gen platforms.

I’m not a big wrestling fan, but this game looks like it could be more fun than Smackdown vs. Raw.
