I got home last night and was pretty intent on getting from level 62 to level 63 on my main hunter so I sat down and began the grind. I invited a couple of people to help me quest through. Hellfire Peninsula was my main place to grind along with the Zangamarsh, inviting people into the “Loot Ninja Com” guild as I slayed mobs. I have realized that making money in the Burning Crusade is much easier than it used to be and I am quickly grabbing up gold like Snicker bars.
I began this World of Warcraft fest at about 6:30 PM and it lasted until 1 AM. I finally dinged level 63 and got some new skills and a pain in my hand again. My only breaks were to eat a sandwich, walk and feed my dog and take a shower, other than those things I was locked in to my hunter.
With roughly six weeks left until the release of Wrath of the Lich King expansion I need to average a level a week to hit level 70 and be semi ready for the new areas of WoW. Then after the expansion releases it will be a whole other task to get to level 80.
At times playing through WoW is a lot of fun but can become like a third job. What has your longest WoW marathon been recently? I am sure my 6 and a half hours is child’s play for some, since this didn’t involve any instances, but straight questing. Matt has been delinquent on the WoW fornt and I have all but abandoned my new character I made with him and focused on my main.
This is an interesting look through the time-line of Sonic and his many many games. Early on Sonic was a strong franchise that rivaled Mario and the Nintendo camp but our blue speedy friend did hit some road bumps along the way and unfortunately lost some credibility with gamers. Luckily the newest iteration of Sonic, Sonic Unleashed looks like the truth, lets hope it helps redeem our Blue Spikey haired friend.
Time Magazine might be the most recognizable magazine in our country and maybe the world. They have covered some of the most turbulent times in history and now has taken a stab at video games. Jesus tapdancing Christ. Here is the list. I will save you the annoyance of clicking through.
Halo 3
Half Life 2: The Orange Box
Rock Band
Super Mario Galaxy
Bioshock
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
The Legend of Zelda: The Phantom Hourglass
Mass Effect
Ace Combat 6
God of War 2
What the fuck? I understand that PS2 is last gen, but you better have a huge set of balls to rate God of War 2 lower than Ace Combat 6. Somehow the DS version of Zelda beat out the wii version? Metroid was not even mentioned. Bioshock rated lower than Rock Band? Rock Band is fun but you cannot even begin to compare to the two. Halo 3 sold hundreds of millions of copies but that does not make it the game of the year, ironically, winning no major awards at the VGA’s. Half Life 2, hey, great port, but number 2? Also notice, not one PS3 exclusive title made it. A chimpanzee could have picked these games out of his ass in a better order.
