You’ve got to give props to a game that lets you have sex with almost every female character in the story and collect an in-game card for doing so. If that sounds like your kind of game, you might want to check out CD Projekt’s 2007 RPG, The Witcher – a somewhat flawed game, but according to the above video, The Witcher 2 should help polish some of those flaws.
I’m personally excited for this game – I loved The Witcher, even though it was a difficult game to continue playing at times, and even though the voice acting was such shit (it looks like that might not have changed), I still loved it.
The Witcher for the PC is one of those games that reminds you of a brand new BMW, but covered in some dirt. Beneath the surface of the imperfection is a really great game with a compelling story and hundreds of hours of gameplay. The game was that good where you played it despite the obvious flaws, which there were numerous. So what did the guys from Atari do? They fixed almost all the issues and released an updated title that gamers desperately wanted and deserved.
Did you miss out on The Witcher last year? It won RPG of the Year at a few outlets. The PC game has been tweaked and re-released with some nice updated (both in your face and behind the scenes). We’ll have a review for you soon, but in the meantime, check out the trailer.
