In case you ever wondered just how strong the cheesy Falcon punch was from Super Smash Bros. Here is a quick video to give you an idea of just how lethal it is. FAAAAAAAAAAAALCON PUNCH!!
Have you ever wondered what they were singing about during the theme song to the Smash Brohters games? Well wonder no more, watch this video and prepare to be amazed by the subtitles. So many questions answered. Nintendo loves… Sheep! Omelet! LOL!
If I were Nintendo right now, I’d be swimming around in pools full of $100 bills. They’re on top of the world. Along with the Wii and DS selling at the top of the charts almost every month, Super Smash Bros. Brawl destroyed some sales records of its own.
After just one week on store shelves, Super Smash Bros.® Brawl for Wii has become the fastest-selling video game in Nintendo of America’s history. Since its launch on March 9, the feature-packed fighting action game has sold more than 1.4 million units in the United States, including more than 874,000 on March 9 alone. It has sold at a rate of more than 120 units per minute between launch and March 16.
That’s an insane amount of sales. It didn’t take down Halo 3 as the fastest selling game ever, but it came pretty damn close. You can’t deny it, people love Smash Bros. and this game will continue to sell at a high pace as more and more people buy Wii’s (when they can find them).
One of the best-selling franchises in the history of Nintendo has finally made its way to next-gen and the Nintendo Wii. This is the release that almost every Wii owner has been waiting for and everyone else who is still trying to locate a Wii is green with envy. Super Smash Bros Brawl is here. The classic 4 way multiplayer experience has returned and done so with more hype than any game on the console to date. Was it worth the wait? You bet Samus’ sweet ass.
A few of you have dropped us a line to let us know that there’s some issues with some Super Smash Bros. Brawl discs. Apparently, this is one of, if not the first game to use a double layer DVD for a Wii game.
Many people are getting an error when trying they put the game in their Wii letting them know the console is “Unable to read the disc.” Ouch. I’d be pretty damn pissed too.
Thankfully, Nintendo is stepping up to remedy the issue. Unfortunately, you have to send them your Wii to get it fixed. There’s issues with a some of the lasers that read the discs in a few consoles. Thankfully, Nintendo is paying for shipping both ways and estimate you’ll be without your precious Wii for only a week or so.
So if you’re having problems getting the game to fire up in your Wii, let Nintendo know and they’ll get you all squared away.
What’s new and big this week? Just a little game called Super Smash Bros. Brawl for the Wii. In what could be the biggest release for the console (possibly for it’s whole life span), you better jump on this one. Also of note this week is Condemned 2, if you’re into getting scared by playing video games.
Today is the day folks. Brawl is hitting stores in North America. To commemorate to occasion, why not check out part 2 of the Final Smash Montage? And then go run down to your local retailer to pick this one up.
