Super Mario World Run SNES, incredible.

This is one of the hardest Super Mario World SNES mods I have ever seen, not to mention one of the best runs as well. This guy makes every correct jump and times each spin jump perfectly, I would have been dead about 10 seconds in or I would have broken a controller in frustration. Watch this!

Here is the big list of top 100 selling titles over the last 12 months. Pretty interesting to see what the top ten games sold are, especially with FIFA beating Madden, COD4 beating out Halo 3, Pokemon still being in the mix after all these years and Brain Age coming in strong to round out the top 10.

10 - Brain Age 2: More Brain Training in Minutes a Day
9 - Super Mario Galaxy
8 - Assassin’s Creed
7 - Pokemon Diamond/Pearl
6 - Need for Speed Pro Street
5 - Madden 08
4 - FIFA 08
3 - Guitar Hero 3
2 - Halo 3
1 - Call of Duty 4

Thanks to Fragloser for the tip.

Lego Super Mario Brothers, Level 1-2

Whoever created this has entirely too much time on their hands. But we get to enjoy it either way. Check out level 1-2 of Super Mario Brothers recreated in Legos. Awesome

Super Mario Bros + Halo = Awesomeness?

This is something you just need to see. This is a rare user vid that is worth watching. Imagine the world of Mario infested with the Halo Universe. You get this. If this was an actual game for sale, you know people would buy it. Granted the graphics are way out of the times, well, thats not the point here. Very cool.

Super Glitchero Bros

This is a serious throwback video showing a glitchy level of Super Mario Brothers, you can barely see the actual level and as Mario runs through the background just randomly changes. This used to happen to me quite a bit when I would play around with my old NES. Typically it meant that the cartridge was not put in correctly or I needed to take it out the cartridge and blow into it. The good old days of gaming when it was an art form just to get your cartridge to work correctly.

Super Mario Doom 2

I stumbled across this video and although the video is a bit long it is really a great mod of Doom. I do disagree with blasting the Yoshis, but the sounds are pretty hilarious. I wonder how long this took to work up and if someone can make a Loot Nnja version, hehehe.

Super Mario Galaxy - Impressions

Super Mario GalaxyI recently had a chance to get my hands on Super Mario Galaxy. Interesting thing is before you fire up your copy the Wii makes you run an update. Another funny note is that all the diagrams in game show the Wiimote with the new Wii silicone glove on them, I thought that was pretty funny.

Super Mario Galaxies for the Nintendo Wii is definitely a uniqe twist on the tried and true Mario franchise, but this bad boy should come with a warning: May make you dizzy after playing for extended times! The premise is that Mario is in space and as always needs to save the princess, but this time in space. Mario bounces form planet to planet collecting stars and spinning his way past Goombas to get more stars.

The physics in Mario is very interesting as you typically are running around a small planet trying to collect or free something to jump to the next planet. This game is truly 3D, to the point that I was actually tilting my head while I was playing. You actually run around these worlds in full 3D and then leap from one to another solving mini puzzles.

The game is definitely unique in presentation and controls, while providing fresh new style graphiccs and gamplay. This is a good pick upfor any Wii owner looking to get some good Mario fun in and a new experience. Expect a full review of this bad boy very shortly.

Many have asked where are the Wii games?

Big cup of STFUNintendo is replying - here they are, now shut up!
This is a huge list of games that will put the library of Wii titles close to 150 (not counting Virtual Console games) and the DS titles close to 450.

I thnk Nintendo really wants to show everyone that not only Nintendo developed games are scheduled ot hit the console but also a lot of third party games as well, many have speculated that third party developers would shy away from the unique controls.

Here is the all encompassing list of games scheduled to come out for the Wii and the DS until the first quarter of next year.

Nintendo at E for All - Showing off its goodies

Smash Bros BrawlAfter hearing of a lot of people bowing out of the lastest edition of E for All (looks at Sony and MS), it looks like Nintendo is looking to capitalize their monopoly at the E for All Expo now. If you happen to be in the in the Los Angeles area from October 18 to the 20th, you might want to stop by the Convention Center to check out the newest installment of Nintendo games, especially Super Smash Bros. In addition, Nintendo will host a daily Super Smash Bros. Brawl tournament. Competitors get a free Wii-themed T-shirt, and a different T-shirt will be available each day of the show.

Although the lineup is subject to change, the complete list of games for Nintendo systems scheduled to appear at E for All include:

Super Mario Galaxy PAL Packshot

Super Mario Galaxy PAL Packshot

Nintendo sent over the final artwork for the PAL edition of Super Mario Galaxy. Don’t expect much to change for the rest of the world, except the rating image.

Nintendo always has some really cool box art for their first party games, and this isn’t an exception. I’m still not sold on the concept of the game. I know the controls work great, but bouncing around from planet to planet mid-level just doesn’t feel like a Mario game to me.
