We get quite a few videos from certain sources and Gametrailers is a major one with typically great high quality videos, but every once in a while one sneaks in and you have to wonder to yourself WTF? Like this video which has something to do with Street Fighter IV being in Sony’s Home. There are no English subtitles and it is completely in Japanese so the gentleman from Sony who is explaining things does not really come across very well.
Why feature this video? My interpretation is stay tuned folks because Sony is planning to do some cool things with Home and Street Fighter, but who gives a shit since both have been announced for ages and will come later in our lifetimes.

The new Street Fighter IV cover art has been unleashed onto the world and gamers profess… “whatever!” This game has such a huge and loyal fan base that the cover art could have been a steaming pile of poo and people would still flock in droves to the stores to purchase it. Some are actually complaining that they do not like the art on the cover, and to them I say “Silence! Chun Li flexing her muscles at you is all you need and all you will get or you will not play the game. So it is written so it shall be done.”
Let’s explore some other potential artwork for the cover. My thought would have been a tribute to the original classic Street Fighter II and have the opening scene of that game on the cover where the generic blonde guy clocks the other dark haired guy.
What do you think, would you liked to have seen something different on the cover art? Or is it fine the way it is?

Although this is pretty cool and for any fighting game enthusiast a must since the arcade version is always better than the console port, it is very un-necessary. This guy took out the guts from the arcade cabinet and rigged them to run off of a controller and his flat screen television.
I am sure that having all of those exposed wires on your living room carpet has to be some kind of fire hazard, but hey if you really want Street Fighter action at home you have to deal with a bit of danger. Also this had to be a pretty expensive mod as he said he fried one board by accident, unless he found the boards somehow. Also how do you get an arcade cabinet home, especially Street Fighter IV which is so highly anticipated?

Looks like Street FIghter IV is already in a bit of controversy due to a combo that El Fuerte can do. Some are dubbing it cheesy and I can see why since he can just backhand you to death. In this round you can see the player pull off the combo at around 26 seconds in and he takes quite a bit of health form Akuma and then does it again. This moment in SFIV history officially makes El Fuerte the weakest and cheesiest new character. Check it out and let us know what you think?

In that video El Fuerte does not chain together infinite FP cancels. He chains some together to dizzy the opponent and then repeats a similar combo to win in one round, but that hardly constitutes the use of the term ‘infinite…Let’s wait and see what the Japanese players say about the tiering before we hastily condemn anything.
What do you get when you combine a lot of spare time and some custom create a character skills with Soul Caliber IV? Well you get Street Fighter characters in your Soul Caliber of course. Some one took the time to make Blanka, Chun Li, M. Bison and Cammy and I have to say they look pretty good. Who would you like to see created?
Take a look at Akuma getting his taint handed to him by Abel. I have to say Akuma is one of my favorite characters and watching him with his dark evil goodness makes me want to get some Street Fighter IV in now! The Zangief ending is also making its rounds around the internet, but I have to say that it is less than stellar, I am including it and a video of Guile after the jump. Guile is looking pretty tight.
Capcom hinted at a nice surprise for PS3 gamers in the Street Fighter universe, and now we know what’s coming. Street Fighter Alpha, the PS1 Classic, is dropping Thursday for the PS3 and PSP.
It’s been a long time since we’ve seen any new PS1 Classics released, so it’s good to see a decent title getting some love. Can’t say this one is a surprise, either, since the ESRB rated it a long time ago.
Remember that patch we told you about for Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix? It’s out now. Your crash issues will go away and the game will work much better.
A whole heap of issues have been fixed other than the crashing to make the gameplay that much better. Capcom has poured a lot of heart and soul into this one and it really shows. Can’t wait for the final game to ship later this summer.
That’s right folks. Those of you who’s 360’s are crashing from the Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix Beta are in luck. Even though Capcom said they wouldn’t be, a patch is in the works.
No word on what they’re fixing, but they’re fixing it. We tried to get in touch with Capcom, but have yet to hear back. Stay tuned.
Have you ever wondered what the bonus round from Street FIghter II where they smash the car might look like in real life? Well here is your answer, these guys went to town on this old beater and added the sounds from the game. My favorite part is the ‘Tiger’ to the window, I wonder if any of the neighbors called the cops on them?
