Publisher EA has announced that Skate It, for the Wii and DS will be released on November 19th, the same day as Microsoft’s NXE Update. This entire year has been fairly void of skating titles for any console so it is somewhat of a relief that we get at least something from this extreme sports category.
Skate It will give gamers the option of control through either the Wii Remote and Nunchuk or Nintendo’s own Wii Balance Board. The DS version will of course, use the stylus. The game looks decent, plus it gives owners of the Wii Balance Board the chance to finally blow the dust off and give it another try. EA did a fine job with Skate so this is at least worth a second look, especially for third party starved Wii owners.
