EA is getting ready to release the second Sims 3 expansion pack called Ambitions. This expansion pack has new jobs and career paths allowing you to play your character while at work, something we’ve not been able to do before. This is a whole new way of playing the Sims, previously when they go to work the best we could do was pick a chance card when it comes up.
This is the last part of my three part review of The Sims 3 expansion, World Adventures. In the first one I covered the adventures in China, the second one covered the adventures in Egypt, today we go to France. The setting is a beautiful French countryside called Champ Les Sims. In the distance you can see the Eiffel Tower but you can’t visit or interact with it. That was a bit disappointing as the advertising made it seem like it was a possibility. The disappointed left quickly as started to play…
Yesterday I started my review of The Sims 3 World Adventures with a tale of my adventure to China. Today we travel to Al Simhara, Egypt. Traveling to Egypt cost a bit more than China but well worth it. This country and adventures has the real “Indiana Jones” feel complete with a marketplace and tombs with treasure. Read on to learn more about my adventures…
This weekend I finally installed The Sims 3 World Adventures and blocked off a few days to try out this new Sim expansion. I got a taste of it when I went to the Blogger’s Day event back in September of last year and was excited to try this expansion pack. The World Adventures pack adds a whole new style of game play to a normal Sims 3 game. Face it, playing the Sims can get redundant, get up, go pee, eat breakfast, go to work. We all do that in real life and yet we play with our little Sim people and do the same thing. I’m not saying it’s not fun, it’s just the same grind. After the first few hours of playing World Adventures, I’m so blown away that this game has become exciting again. I can’t wait to turn it on and take my Sim on another adventure. I have so much to tell about it that I’m going to break my review into three parts, one to cover each country (China, Egypt and France) so be sure to read all three articles, I’ll give my final thoughts on the last post. All of the photos I’m going to use are from my game and will feature my Sim.
I saved the best for last. Since I am a huge Sim fan, getting to see the preview of the Sims3 expansion World Adventures was the best! We were not allowed to take pictures so I can only describe what I saw.
