There are two big games coming out on Tuesday, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and Brütal Legend. One will be Game of the Year, in my opinion. With GameStop and plenty of other places holding midnight launch events for both games on the same day, it goes without saying that people want both of these titles in their consoles. Sony has a way about changing the formatting of typing up their system name. First with the PLAYSTATION3, then PlayStation 3. We had the PSP Go, which is now the PSPgo. Either way, they’ve got a new iteration of their handheld out now and we want to hear from you. Will you be dropping ducats on this beast? Hit up the weekend poll and let us know.
Personally, I’m on the fence. My biggest gripe with the PSP is the ergonomics, which cause my hands to cramp up after a short period of time. I’d like to sit down and play through for a longer period of time, but the analog nub placement is awkward for my baby hands. The PSPgo certainly solves that problem, but leaves me high and dry for all the games I already own, which is a big no-no.

A lot of us were anxiously awaiting the PS3 firmware update 3.0 to bring new features to the system, but unfortunately, it’s been marred with a few game-killing issues. Uncharted freezes and stutters and other games are experiencing slowdowns. I noticed a big slowdown in loading times of MLB 09 The Show after upgrading to 3.0. Sony is aware of the issues and are working on a patch for the situation. Why can’t this be found beforehand, especially with issues like this that crash some of the biggest exclusive titles? Anyway, we want to hear from you. Have you had any issues since upgrading to firmware 3.0?

I was just reflecting today on the two awesome FPS’ coming this fall: Halo 3: ODST and CoD 4: MW2. We know what we are going to get with MW2, a decent campaign and a kick ass multiplayer. With Halo 3; ODST, we are not so sure, thought I would be floored if it was not awesome. There are a lot of Halo fans out there but MW did change the landscape for mulitplayer FPS. What do you guys think?

Loading ...Matt, Al, and I were all playing some Team Mafiya Work the other night in GTA IV. I honestly had to take off my headset everytime we entered a lobby. It usually takes around a minute for the room to fill and all proper settings finalized. This is a minute of constant screaming and cursing with racial epitaphs used more often than not. The worst part is that everyone is screaming at once so even if someone drops a one-liner, you can’t hear it. So far, the GTA IV lobbies have been the worst I have been in. How about you guys?
