Well folks, The M.G.C. event went off in style last Saturday. I think the pictures will give you a little insight on what to expect at an M.G.C. event near your home town as well. Don’t forget to check out the video too, one of the prizewinners gave Loot Ninja a little shout out.
Here’s a brief rundown of how the events work, and the prizes and giveaways:
Registration opens up at 5:00pm, and it’s basically a free-for-all warm-up period for about two hours, until 7:00pm, which is when the tournaments officially start. Each tournament is laid out on a big dry-erase board, March Madness style. You play your matchup, and the winner moves on to the next round, it’s as simple as that.
Nintendo has a mixed history of some add ons. The power pad is still under my bed and the power glove was burned in effigy sometime last decade, but ign.com reports that a sweet add on is coming for the Wii, namely for the Zelda titles.
Here are some pictures of the sword and shield combo. They serve no functional purpose, but for 20 bucks, the assumed asking price, why not?
In this year’s Tiger Woods game for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC, you’ll be able to import pictures of yourself to make your own face in the game. You use the Xbox Live Vision Camera, PS3 EyeToy, or you can upload pictures of yourself to EA’s website.
It looks like EA has done a great job with this feature in Tiger Woods.
