Reminder time folks. Our Patapon Be@rbrick contest is currently running.
To enter this contest, post a comment with your most creative Patapon name for the Be@rbrick figure in the ORIGINAL post (here). Entries in this post won’t be counted as entries. You can enter once per day, but can only use each name once. Any duplicate names won’t be counted, as is the case with multiple entries per day. Most creative names will win, so put your thinking cap on.
The contest is running for just over a week. It ends at 11:59pm ET on Friday March 7. We’ll be picking the most creative names and will send the winners their very own Be@rbrick Patapon figures.
Do you love gaming toys and figures as much as I do? How about Patapon? Well, thanks to Sony, we’re giving away a few Be@rbrick Patapon figures, as seen above. Use these to remind yourself of the Patapon songs while at work or wherever you see fit.

So you thought the feather stylus that came with Zelda for the DS was sweet, I call shenanigans and present to you the Dragon Sword Stylus! Thats right if you pre-order your copy of Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword from GamStop now you get this pimp stylus, a pretty good deal for a pre-order. Between this and the Patapon demo disc with a pre-order, these have been the best pre-order deals I have seen in a while. Get yours in your hand on March 25 and get a chance to stab your DS.
Pre-order Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword and receive a Ninja Gaiden Sword Stylus Free! Offer good while supplies last. Stylus will ship with the game for online customers. In store customers see stores for details.
First off, thanks to everyone who entered! We had 209 entries for the contest, so it looks like a lot of you are excited for the game. Now let’s get down to it, shall we…
The two winners are catbond and Suki. Congrats! We’ll be contacting you by email to get all the details to get the games out to you.

That’s in. Throw in the towel. Our Patapon Giveaway is over. If you haven’t entered yet, you’re shit out of luck. As a reminder, we’re giving away two copies of the PSP game to two lucky readers.
We’ll be running our random winner generator sometime Tuesday morning (again, we really do have one). Winners will be posted around noon and we’ll do our best to get the game out to you tomorrow. The only reason I’m saying do our best is because there’s supposed to be about a foot of snow here tomorrow, which may hinder me getting to the post office. Stay tuned.
Patapon is game which is hard to describe. You assume the role of the Mighty Patapon, the god to the Patapon creatures. By banging your drum, you energize them to move, attack, defend, etc. The simplistic gameplay and addictive beats will keep you coming back for more. Here is a breakdown of some of the facets of Patapon for the PSP:
Presentation and Graphics: Patapon has a cartoon style, very much like that of LocoRoco. Each stage sports a minimalistic yet colorful background where your Patapons travel to meet their goals. Each race of Patapons you unlock have their distinct look and feel, as do the immense boss characters. Very pleasing to the eye, you almost feel like you’re playing an anime cartoon. 9 of 10

Seeing as we have been talking about Patapon a bit on the site and even holding a contest giving away a couple of copies I thought this launch trailer would be a nice way for those of you who aren’t that familiar with the game to get an idea of what the fuss is about. Patapon looks to be quite a unique game for any system and a possible reason for some to go out and get a PSP.
