Yes the title reads Ultimate Box, get your chuckles out now, it isn’t that kind of article. Looks like Burnout is getting the box treatment, okay it does sound kind of funny, but seriously they are getting a new set that will include all the new DLC. Look to get your hands on it during the London Games Festival or in your home in February.

We have told you all about the massive DLC coming to Burnout Paradise that boasts some new bikes, but couldn’t confirm the release date, but that has changed and you can now expect this monster load of content September 18th. If you don’t remember what this downloadable content will bring here it is:

- A brand new in-game 24 hr day / night cycle that impacts traffic density and available events. (It’s fully customisable – you can make it day/night/change the clock speed – it’s up to you.)
- Dynamic weather brings an all-new look to Paradise City
- And if that’s not enough, we’ve got 70 more Freeburn Challenges too
So get your internet connection up and ready because Thursday you should be downloading this bad boy. I wonder when the next set of content will come where you can work on your F15 license?

Yup you read that right, Burnout Paradise the entire game is coming to the PSN, not a mini game based from it or a segment, but the entire game including all the new content. An impressive feat just from the standpoint that they are taking a Blu Ray game and smooshing it into a downloadable format. (yes smooshing is a very technical term I know) So you can head on over to the Playstation Store and grab the downloadable version as well as the DLC this Autumn, which includes the bikes and new modes for $29.99. Curious what else we can expect to come to the PSN in a downloadable format? Perhaps some more EA titles? Sony is sending a message to the Xbox 360 and it’s inability to do things just like this.

The developers behind Burnout: Paradise have finally revealed the day their newest update will be available. As always, their updates are both free and full of cool new shit that will make you pop the game back into the console.
This is our 3rd and most ambitious software update yet! It will be available for free at 09:00am UK time on Thursday 10th July ‘08.
Free shit FTW. Here is a link to all the details for the update.

Good news for all you Burnout Paradise fans out there. The game has a HUGE patch coming soon to fix the bevy of problems that resulted when the game first came out. People were livid and emailed the developers over at EA for some resolution to these glaring issues. Their prayers have been answered. Here are the top 10 requests that needed fixing.
The Top 10 problems reported by you have been fixed, these are:
- PS3 game can crash when a player is taken down and the player that has performed the Takedown leaves the game.
- The game indefinitely displays “Connecting to Paradise City Servers” if it’s having problems pinging the rebroadcast server.
- Disconnecting the controller before a race begins can mean that race timings can be manipulated with players who didn’t cross the line first being awarded the win
- Repeatedly joining and leaving a game with 8 players can cause the game to hang.
- Hammering the A (360) or X (PS3) after unlocking a car can cause the game to hang.
- East Crawford and Watt St achievements can not be achieved if the player goes online and sets road rules before attempting them.
- Audio distortion when using 5.1 / DTS and looking rearwards.
- Enhanced 360 streaming performance stops instances where the game seems to pause for a second or so.
- Total time driven in player stats would stick at 145 hours
- VoIP connection problems with 8 player games.
Hit the jump for the rest of the details on the patch. We should have a release date for you as soon as they tell us.
