Want to play the demo for Ninja Gaiden 2, but feel betrayed by that cluster-f that happened at GDC? Your chance is coming soon as Team Ninja has announced a playable demo in May on the Xbox Live Marketplace.
There is also supposedly some exclusive content coming April 15th. No doubt this will be some gamer pictures, themes, and possibly videos. Why is it exclusive? Well, because the game is only coming to Xbox 360.
With a June 3rd release date, May is a perfect time for a demo. It’s not like people aren’t going to buy the game anyway.
I have to say that this commercial is a bit on the lame side, especially for Ninja Gaiden standards. Maybe they are trying to make the game look less hardcore and bloody by portraying a ninja in Converse sneakers jumping all over the place? Worth a laugh, but I would stick to gameplay action over a kid doing back flips in a schoolyard.

According to the GDC banner on the Xbox 360 Dashboard, we can expect a Ninja Gaiden 2 demo soon. Apparantly, trailers and gamer pictures aren’t all that was planned for Microsoft’s Bringing It Home for GDC.
The link in the Dashboard for the demo is pseudo grayed out right now, but we expect it to go live before the end of the week.
I, for one, can’t wait to use those claws to slash up some enemies.
Ryu Hayabusa will make his triumphant return this June in Ninja Gaiden 2. The sequel to the ever popular Xbox title looks to bring a ton more weapons and gore.
I’m excited because the game will have multiple difficulty levels. I’m a big Ninja Gaiden fan, but I don’t want to have to look up FAQs every level to get through the game.
I think the wolverine claws are my favorite weapon in Ninja Gaiden 2. Hell, they’d be my favorite weapon in any game. Here’s a new video showing off some cool gameplay footage with the new devastating killing machines.
MS continues to expand the Xbox Originals library with three “new” games next week. Ninja Gaiden Black, Sid Meier’s Pirates, and Black, will all be available on Feb 11th and should cost the usual 1200 MS points. The NGB game is great because you get the expansion pack already built in and may give you a good warm-up for NG2. I never really got into Pirates! and never knew why! they had to put! exclimation points after the title! Black was a solid FPS, but its short. You really need the 120gb HDD for these games though.
Here is a screenshot from the latest edition of EGM Magazine. This clearly shows that PS3 is listed next to Ninja Gaiden 2. Obvious question… was this just a typo or is it someone jumping the gun on a future planned release? What do you guys think?
