Mr. Potato Head is back and he’s ready to boogie. Hasbro Family Game Night 2 is coming for the Nintendo Wii this month. New games like Operation, Jenga, Boppit, Pictureka and Connect 4×4. Check out the video EA released and watch the potato man dance. It might not sell games but it’s kind of cute to watch.
Sony is on a tear here lately and just can’t leave things well enough alone! It gets me so mad sometimes! I’m talking to you Sony! Anyway, here recently, Sony has changed the PS3 logo, they’ve changed the look of the console with the new PS3 Slim, they just released a new firmware update, and now Sony is changing box art designs. The first game up on the chopping block is Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, one all PS3 owners should buy. I guess this is Sony’s way of making everyone get used to the new design.
I don’t know about you Loot Ninja gamers, but I like to have my video game collection in tip top shape. The game shelf (or gaming cabinet in my case) should be “shown off” when company comes over for dinner. It doesn’t matter who shows up, whether it be granny McGee or a 10 year old boy. Friends should be able to enjoy a nice 3 course meal and then bow down to your awe inspiring game collection. That’s just how your supposed to do it right?
This new box design doesn’t look half bad actually, it definitely cleans up the look of the front cover, and takes away the famous “Spiderman font” I have come to love, leaving more room for the box art. It doesn’t look as busy and cluttered as previous games, with Playstation Network logos, and spelled out “Only On Playstation” taking up massive amounts of box cover real estate. Look for this new design to hit store shelves when Uncharted 2 does, on October 13th.
Am I complaining about a minor design change? Does it really mean that much to you guys? All I am hoping is that the back spine looks the same as the rest of my PS3 game collection. Is that too much to ask for? How say you Loot Ninja? Let me know in the comments.
