These older commercials really make me smile, just goes to show you the different angles that were taken back then to help promote video games. The Snuggle bear gets chased down by tanks, loses an ear, loses and arm and then gets set on fire, priceless. The end is great where the cuddly cute bear ahas track marks on him and is coughing up stuffing, why can’t we make commercials like this anymore?
Overclocked looks very cinematic and I like the feel and sound of the game so far, but the graphics look very dated. I would expect to see graphics like that on an N64 game, not something of this generation of consoles. The plot looks robust and there is no lack of blood apparently or violence, but the graphics just wouldn’t justify me paying full price for this title.
Some people criticize Smash Bros. for being the same game on all three consoles but I think this video does do some justice to what has been achieved over the years with Smash Bros. The graphics have definitely been improved, except for poor Kirby who will always look like a pink glob of splooge. Also you can tell that the game speed has changed over the iterations. One thing to notice is when you compare the Gamecube and Wii versions, they look similar. When you compare the N64 version you can see difference. What do you think?
