
Well folks, The M.G.C. event went off in style last Saturday. I think the pictures will give you a little insight on what to expect at an M.G.C. event near your home town as well. Don’t forget to check out the video too, one of the prizewinners gave Loot Ninja a little shout out.
Here’s a brief rundown of how the events work, and the prizes and giveaways:
Registration opens up at 5:00pm, and it’s basically a free-for-all warm-up period for about two hours, until 7:00pm, which is when the tournaments officially start. Each tournament is laid out on a big dry-erase board, March Madness style. You play your matchup, and the winner moves on to the next round, it’s as simple as that.

Midnight Gaming Championships Summer Tour is kicking off it’s fourth year of events all around the U.S. They have new partners, venues, and games on the tour for 2009. What does this mean to you? Well, friendly competittion, and if you are good enough, free stuff!
The M.G.C. kicked off its fourth annual national gaming tournament on Saturday, June 27 at the Hot Import Nights event in Charlotte, NC. They have a TON of event locations this year, including Dallas, Houston, Chicago, Boston and Philadelphia. Games on the slate for 2009 include Guitar Hero World Tour, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Madden 09 and the Fast and Furious mobile phone game. Seriously?
