When I was young, I did not own a sandbox. My parents were not cheap, my dad just didn’t want it messing up his lawn. So when people tell me that open ended games are like a sandbox, I fell like I have no idea what they mean. What I do remember is going to the beach and stomping on other kids’ sand castles. Partly because I was an asshole at age 6 and mostly because I liked to see things get knocked down. If you like blowing up building after building with every way possible, then Mercs 2 is for you.
Have you ever been pissed off at Lag spikes during a game? I am sure you have well at least this bit of lag brings the funny. These guys are playing some Mercenaries 2 and one player apparently has some pretty bad lag, which leads to some interesting effects in the game. Watch as cars take flight magically and flip out of control.
Mercs 2 was dropped on us on Sunday and most of the reviews are positive though the game has some flaws, namely the enemy AI. For those of us who like to blow shit up, we have to decide on what console to get it for. These videos look very similar to me. What do you think?

Sometimes you just wanna blow shit up. Come August 31, you will get that chance. Become a mercenary and bring everything around you into an orgy of smoldering revenge and sweet cash. The first game was an out of nowhere hit. I am expecting Mercs 2 to sneak up on no one.
