This family not only dressed up for Halloween but dressed in a theme, as the famed Captain N Team, the father was Captain N and his two sons were Kid Icarus and Mega Man. The Mega Man costume is the best one I have ever seen and the kid that dressed up as Mega Man makes it even cuter by yelling “Pew Pew Pew” and pointing his Mega Blaster at people. Best part of the video is when one guy answers the door and calls the small boy a Power Ranger, to which he answers, “No I am Mega Man!”, thats right son show them you are not a pansy in tights, but a super strong android. Enjoy.
You can hit the link to see how this guy made the Mega Man costume and how he makes some pretty sick pumpkins too.
I have seen a ton of stop motion movies and Mega Man tributes before, but Nicolas Menard uses stationary, legos, shoes and food to recreate Mega Man 9 into a sheer awesome video. The music alone makes me want to grab a controller and fire up Mega Man 2, but my favorite part of the video is the boss battle between Megan Man and the Oreo Cookie monster. This is a genius clip and Capcom needs to hire this guy right now to make videos for promotions.
Mega Man 9 has only been out on the Wii for a limited time and hasn’t even hit the Xbox 360 yet but it looks like it is getting some downloadable content already. For a measly 300 Wii points you can grab a new mode called Endless Attack where enemies come flying at you and you rack up a high score until you die or for 200 Wii points you can grab a playable Proto Man. In case you didn’t know, Proto Man is Mega Man’s brother and loves to wear a scarf, shades and pink.
This game needs to be bought and I am seriously considering buying both pieces of DLC. A new game type and a new character that actually changes the game play (Proto Man has a shield and when hit flies back further than Mega Man) are both great ideas by Capcom.
If you have not checked out this awesome creation, here it is, the Mega Man Creator. This is from the folks over at Destructoid and it allows you to make your own Mega Man boss and even edit it via paint. As a kid I played a ton of Mega Man and being able to make your own boss is pretty awesome, I quickly made Alf and smiled, later today I will try and make a Loot Ninja Man. What will you make?

No Mega Man is not going out on a date, he finally gets a street date for his newest release Mega Man 9 or as I like to call it Mega Man Nueve. Get your internet connection and console of choice ready because Mega Man is here for you to start downloading his newest adventure.
The wait is fianlly over: Mega Man 9 hits North America next week!
The game will be released for download on the September 22 for the Wii.
Playstation Network gets it September 25th, and XBLA will have it October 1!
These dates are for North America ONLY.
No pricing structure was mentioned just yet, but I will pay Capcom whatever they want for this game. Most likely grabbing this bad boy for my Xbox 360, which means I will have to wait a bit, but patience is a virtue.
Mega Man 9 of course! Have you guys seen this packaging, it makes me smile just looking at it. I am a huge old school NES player and regret getting rid of my original NES and all my games. Look at that sexy case! Ok it isn’t exactly sexy, actually its blocky and gray, but that is exactly what makes it so great! It looks just like and old NES cartridge but opens up to house the CD.
What do you think - masterful piece of art or old piece crap? I will hunt you down if you vote for old piece of crap!

This really caught me off guard, I had never realized that my favorite metallic hero only fought against other male robots. There was never a female boss in any of the Mega Man series until now, Mega Man 9 is getting the first ever female boss in any Mega Man game named Splash Woman.
Pretty incredible that through all of the iterations of Mega Man and there have been a ton there have been no female boss characters, there was a female character named Rolls that helped Mega Man, but never a boss.
The female bosses stage is much like that of Bubble Man from Mega Man 2 where it almost completely underwater and you have to navigate some crazy jumps. After you defeat her you get her Laser Trident power, which looks pretty cool.
Hit the jump to see some shots of her stage and a funny video of a German ProtoMan Remix song. Read More »
The Megaman theme was a staple of the NES synthesizer game tunes. When I hear it, I get a Pavlovian response and instantly want to beat the shit out of Air Man. This user vid shows a dedicated and creative gamer putting the theme to some decent lyrics. Robot dogs kick ass.
No street dates have been announced just yet on Mega Man 9, but Capcom has confirmed that the newest Mega Man title, Megaman 9, will be hitting the PlayStation Network, the Xbox Live Arcade, and Wiiware. What was at first thought to be a Wiiware exclusive title has turned the corner and been whored out to all the systems. Good job Capcom, make sure you fill your pockets with as much cash as possible.
LAST MINUTE UPDATE: Capcom has officially stated that Mega Man 9 is currently slated “for WiiWare only” and that the information indicating it would go cross platform was a mistake on Capcom’s part. We take back the part where we called Capcom money grubbing whores, we love you Capcom, we didn’t mean it.
We had brought you a couple of other fusion videos of Super Mario fused with Mega Man and Halo, but here he is with the the cast of Doom. These mods are fantastic and would actually make for very fun games. Also Hammer Bros. suit FTW easily, I don’t recall that suit from the games.
We're like Spaceballs... we're making Loot Ninja everything. Coming soon we'll have hats, shirts, hoodies, possibly banana hammocks if one Editor has his way...
Check out the shirt prototypes here and the hats here
