Major League Eating - Kobayashi vs. The Bear

Who can eat more hot dogs? The Japanese man with the ever expanding stomach, or a grizzly bear? Who knows, but I wish the bear mauled Kobayashi in this video. Did anyone out there actually pay for this game?

Major League Eating: The Game Trailer

Just watch. I don’t know what else to say. The rap theme is utterly priceless. I saw the Wing Bowl in Philly a couple of years ago. Disturbing is good word. How they locked down all the liknesses, I’ll never know.

Major League Eating Game is Under Development

Read that title again. Okay. There will be a game, which will revolve around the “sport” of competitive eating. The publisher, Mastiff, has retained the rights to MLE and all its athletes to make the first ever game that is solely based on people eating inordinate amounts of food. How you may ask did this come to fruitition? We just got press release:

Major League Eaters aren’t just elite athletes,” says Bill Swartz, Head Woof at Mastiff. They are the people who built America. Or at least the competitive eating part of America.

There is a reach of epic proportions. Just about as much of a reach as Nicole Kidman playing a Neurosurgeon in Days of Thunder. Next question, how will this game play. Read on:

Major League Eating: The Game features the world’s greatest gurgitory athletes competing across twelve different food types. Built much like a fighting game, MLE: The Game requires players to show brilliant on-screen eating; a mastery of offensive and defensive weapons including burps, belches, and mustard gas; and of course the technical mastery necessary to avoid emptying one’s stomach in a vividly colored reversal of fortune.

No word on what systems or a release date, but expect more on this must have title.
