The Game is the #6 Ranked Madden Player in the World

This by no means news, but I find it ironic that The Game, off and on again homey with 50 Cent and G-Unit, boasts an impressive 174 wins and 31 losses record on the PSN. His ID is L-A-X. He has a $100,000 Madden Face-off with fellow rapper and Madden aficionado Bow Wow. That’s a lot to take in right there. I’ll give you a minute.

Okay. I can’t say that I am that impressed by any of this. The Game made his money, legally. He is a rapper and that takes talent I am no way hating on how he made his fortune. I am however not going to get on my knees for someone who does not have to go to work everyday. I consider myself an above average Madden player and my record holds at 0-0. Might have something to do with having bills to pay and work and that whole thing.  If this was some ordinary dipshit who lives with his parents and does his 15 hrs a week and the local Gamestop, everyone would either not care or call him a complete douche. The fact that The Game is a celebrity, sort of, people are expected to swoon. It’d be nice if that 100k went to charity. My magic 8-ball points to no fucking chance.

Madden 2009 to Have Returnable Field Goals

NFL Head Coach 09 Screen

Madden 2009 has one goal. Make the game more than a roster update for 60 bucks. A new feature will allow you to return missed field goals that do not make it to the uprights. This changes the philosophy of blasting a 57 yarder at the end of the half. Since FG in Madden are never blocked, there is no repercussion for such misses until Devon Hester brings it back 106 yards on your ill-kicking ass.

P.S. I am fully aware of the irony of citing an article by GameStop after we have posted a parody of them.
