Here is a great video of the new Lego Batman game and the two newest villains to inhabit it’s Lego goodness, Two Face and the Scarecrow. The clip of Two Face dual wielding and flipping his coin is priceless, Scarecrow I was less impressed by, although he does hit people with his hat. The Lego video game franchise so far is very strong and continues to look good.
Lego Indiana Jones looks pretty sweet and if you even remotely enjoyed the Lego Star Wars games this title looks to offer even more Lego good times. This may be one of the best 2 player coop games for the year seeing as there aren’t many released now a days so check it out. I can listen to the Indiana Jones music all day, think it’s stuck in my head now.
I am a sucker for Lego, now throw in some Halo inspired music and you have a winner. This video was done pretty well and makes me smile and want for a real Lego Halo game so I can throw sticky grenades and watch Lego pieces go flying!
Good old Legos they never disappoint me. I am very much looking forward to the Iron Man movie and this guy take Legos and re-enacts the entire trailer. I think it is just as good and pretty awesome how he incorporated the entire trailer into small blocks of art. This makes me think of the potential of a Lego Iron Man game as well?! How sweet would that be, with the soundtrack? Kick ass!
Keeping with the theme of Lego themed games, someone decided to recreate the Adventure’s of Link using everyone’s favorite block pieces. This is very entertaining and done very well, my favorite part is when he cuts the skeletons head off and then flings his body. The stop motion and character design do justice to the game and who knows if this inspires a new Lego game in the future? Enjoy.
Star Wars is a super epic movie that anyone with a pulse can easily recognise, so of course it made sense to have it grace video game consoles. Pretty much slapping a Star Wars logo on about anything will make it sell, just look at Soul Calibur putting in Darth Vader and Yoda, not necessary at all but people will buy the game just to use these characters.
Great to see how the Star Wars franchise developed from it’s original roots on the original consoles and developed into Lego inspired games, RPG’s like Knights of the Old Republic and classic fighter games like Rebel Assault. Star Wars is one of those franchises that provides so much story and so much content that the possibilities of games is almost endless.
I am thinking the only thing we are missing is Star Wars Sims, build Chewbaca a hut and make him a vital part of society.
Lego Indiana Jones looks like a lot of fun and looks to put the Lego Star Wars games to shame. There is a lot more environmental interaction in this series, which makes it feel more real. There still are many elements of the Lego series that are built in, like collecting pieces and making objects out of scattered pieces to solve puzzles. I am impressed with the Lego series’ so far and this version of Indiana Jones looks to take the good and expand on it, the interview even implies that there will be some work to be done to try and develop downloadable content to expand the game even further.
I just can’t get enough of video game inspired Lego work. Seems like Lego and video games are going together like sex and cigarettes now a days, even Halo will be getting it’s own version immortalized in small blocks.
This guy has made the first level of Star Fox and even animated it using stop motion captures. I have to say this is pretty awesome work and we look forward to seeing more, how bout some Lego Mario Kart?
Indiana Jones and LEGO fans alike will be pleased to know the game from their namesakes has been dated for Europe. The game is set to hit store shelves for all platforms on June 6th.
No date has been set for the US yet, but I would assume around the same date or slightly before.
We’ve seen gameplay footage before and it’s looking very polished. Can’t wait for this one to come out in a few months.
We're like Spaceballs... we're making Loot Ninja everything. Coming soon we'll have hats, shirts, hoodies, possibly banana hammocks if one Editor has his way...
Check out the shirt prototypes here and the hats here
