Sega sent out a press release touting their continuation of the Iron Man movie game adaptations. The first one wasn’t very good at all, so here’s hoping the extra development time will give them a chance to make a solid Iron Man game.
Set to be released along side the movie in 2010, we know nothing about the story as of yet. I hope there will be some Avengers tie-ins with S.H.I.E.L.D. and maybe War Machine.
This hilarious user vid parodies the “I’m a Mac, I’m a PC” adds with some Robot Chicken like flavor. Hilarity ensues.
Yeah, it’s not exactly video game related, but we’re all comic book fans here at Loot Ninja as well. And when a superhero movies comes out, we’re right there. I saw Iron Man last night with my brother-in-law and holy shit people. This is like the second coming of Christ.
Personally, I think it’s better than any of the Spiderman movies and right up there with Batman Begins. I might be paying to see it again in the theater and will be buying it on Blu-Ray the second it comes out.
If you can pry yourself away from your gaming systems for a few hours this weekend, go see Iron Man. It’s worth ever penny.
There is much speculation that the Ironman movie, which has been getting stellar reviews, is going to suffer in the box office due to the fact that its greatest demographic audience will be playing GTA IV all weekend. This is what high paid execs get to think about. Well, I want to know. I’m sorry, I thought this was America?

GTA IV isn’t the only game being released this week. Iron Man is coming out for all of the major systems as well. There are a lot of suit customizations you’ll be able to do for Tony Stark, some of which are exclusive to the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the game. You know that little Iron Man game we’re raving about? A demo will be available today on the Xbox 360 and “soon” on the PS3 (we’re guessing in next Thursday’s update).

Sega put together a nice little trailer for Iron Man for this weekend’s Comic-Con in New York. I think I can safely say that everyone here at Loot Ninja is pretty excited for this one. Hopefully it breaks the streak of bad games based on movies based on video games.
Check out how developer Secret Level is working on development of the new Iron Man game. This looks like it could be one of the best games based on a movie based on a comic book. Most of them have sucked, but I have some very high hopes based on all the videos we’ve seen of Iron Man so far.
Finally a look at some game play here. The game looks like it could be easy and/or repetitive. I hope there are some more varied missions instead of flying around, targeting, and then doing some more of that. It also seems like Ironman is un-fucking-stoppable. Either way, a demo soon would be awesome and would help ease some concerns.
Here is a taste of what it will be like to be Tony Stark in his brand spanking new Mark III suit. We here at Loot Ninja really hope this is one of the few movie based games that doesn’t want to make us vomit with rage. Ironman FTW.
