HydroTilt Limited Time Promotion

It seems that Publisher X is taking a page out of the “how to succeed at the App Store” handbook.  Not only are they now offering a “lite” version of their popular game HydroTilt, but they have also reduced the price from $4.99 to $2.99 for a limited time.  There isn’t an official end date to this limited time promotion but it began on Friday, January 16th so I wouldn’t drag my feet too long if I was you.

To sweeten the deal, Publisher X has also decided to announce that a level editor is in the works that will allow gamers to create and share their own levels.  The level editor is set for release sometime this February and will be offered as a free update to everyone who has purchased the full version of the game.  The full press release is included after the jump.

Trailer: HydroTilt for iPhone/iPod Touch

HydroTilt isn’t just another Marble Madness style game.  Yes, you do roll a ball of water around on platforms but there are also various puzzles to solve by manipulating the ball into different forms.  The iPhone’s accelerometer usually works well with games of this nature so check out the official trailer and see for yourself if it is worthy of a purchase.  HydroTilt is now available at the iTunes App Store for $4.99.
