Have you ever dreamed of fighting the Locust horde? Do you like spending a lot of money on shit you don’t need, can’t afford, and have no functionality or practicality whatsoever? There are some of you out there who have not bought Gears of War yet. I am one of them. My roommate at the time bought the game and we had a house copy. He has since moved on and I am left bereft of Marcus and Co. Gamestop is re-releasing a jam packed version of GoW. It comes with ALL the DLC to date which includes map packs, gamer pictures and themes (who gives a fuck), and a Gears of War 2 preview. All for the low price of 39.99. Its actually a good deal considering the game is still widely played on multi and all the new maps are on there (even though they’re free now anyway). It ships June 24th. You can….pre…..order… if you dare.
Want to see some locusts get jacked up in cool art styles? Your chance is coming as DC Comics will be brining Marcus, Dom, and all your favorite chainsaw wielding heroes to the comics. The series is set to come from DC’s WildStorm publishing imprint in October.

Just wanted to say thanks to all of our friends who joined us last night for Game with Loot Ninja night. We played a bunch of Gears of War in Warzone. I got curb stomped quite a bit by mister needles. Yeah, he’s pretty good.

Army of Two is a great co-op game from EA that you can pick up with a friend and play either split screen or online. The game tries to push the envelope in the genre by really making the two characters interact with each other in order to finish objectives. The addition of a partner is vital to the gameplay, not like just having more marines in Halo 3 or an extra friend to help you finish Gears of War. This is one of the oddest videos I have ever seen from Gears of War. These two guys are playing the stage with the kryll, where you have to push the flaming car around and the car takes flight and then proceeds to spin around in the air? I am thinking this guys Xbox 360 may need an exorcism or at least a coffee break.

That’s right folks, Gears of War 2 is official and here is a quick teaser trailer to get your whistle wet. If you thought they might be getting rid of the chainsaw, think again nothing says I am having a good time like a chainsaw to a Locust! I have to say that this teaser trailer although not showing any actual game play was enough to get me hyped up to play the first Gears again and very excited to see what is in store for us come November!
