In the latest GT Countdown, the folks at GameTrailers count down the Top 10 Funniest Games. There have been some games that made me laugh my ass off. It’s a decent list they’ve put together, but I’m not sure I completely agree. What about you? What do you think is the funniest game of all time?
If anyone has the authority to award Best Trailer, it might be GameTrailers. Hell, that’s what they do. But just who won the award? There were some damn good ones, but the winner was… Nah, I’m not telling you. Check it out for yourself.
Teasers just aren’t enough, and Insomniac is going to deliver the goods. This Friday night on GameTrailers TV on Spike, you’ll get to see the very first gameplay footage from Resistance 2. I know I’m excited.
If you don’t want to deal with the SD action on Spike, head over to GameTrailers on Saturday and check it all out in glorious HD. Or you could spend money and download the episode on the Xbox Live Marketplace, but I’m sure you’re all going to take the free option.
The latest hubbub in the every going console flame war has now shifted to Gametrailers, one of the biggest and most respected sites in gaming. In the past, there have been claims that they show poor quality PS3 videos to contrast with much better Xbox 360 ones to show the MS port as better. Although they have no opinion of their own, people say its propaganda with the differences sometimes staggering.
The video below, now pulled from GT, was a comparison of both versions of the racing title GRID. Watch and see for yourselves. I am not claiming anything here on GT because it would make no sense that this was intentional and if they have any ulterior motives. I love their site and would hate to see it scrutinized for simple mix up. Other gamers are not so light in their sentiments. What do you guys think? A simple fuck up or dirty pool?
People love to compare shit. That’s obvious. When it comes to comparing systems, well, a whole other world of scrutiny is opened. GT has done an awesome job in doing so, but not to some disdain from the gaming community. People are claiming that they are not using the PS3 to its graphical capacity and that’s why many of these look like the 360 versions are better. Turns out, there is a reason behind all of this. Here is a letter from their editor. Some major points are that HDMI cannot be used on the PS3 because its copyright protected. Both machines are done in component only and the PS3 is not configured by default for optimization. Read on and let us know what you guys think.
