Resistance 2 dropped on Tuesday and we got our copies last night. Collectors Edition Chimera figure FTW. Haven’t had a chance to fire it up yet, but that’s on the docket for tonight (after my beloved bowling league). Here’s what’s in store:
Watch as Chris and Sheva go exploring a cave in Resident Evil 5. The graphics and gameplay are looking spot on, unfortunately these two Japanese people speak through the entire clip and say “hai” to each other over and over. I guess she feels a need to constantly agree with the guy showing her the game? Check out the jumping zombie spiders as they latch onto Chris and he is forced to ask his partner for help.
Holy dookers I want this game. The release date can’t come fast enough (unlike Scuba). Check out some gameplay of Bison vs. Seth. Just a note, Bison is called Vega over there in Japan. Why the hell the named got changed in the rest of the world back is just plain stupid. Either way, watch the beautiful glorious battle.
Saints Row 2 is always being called a GTA clone, but I guarantee you that GTA did not have a streaking mini-game. Even GTA would not go that low, but looks like Saints Row will.
Watch as you gain respect for walking near people while as naked as the day you born. I take issue with the main character pulling guns out of thin air, curious where she hides her pistols? This is one mini-game that I think really was not necessary in anyway for any game.
I think these developers actually made something worse than Wii Music, didn’t think that would be possible. Apparently the gameplay is entirely based off of tapping on a box which you lay your Wii remote on. Do you get a special Wii cardboard box to play? The games look weak at best with the best one being the running game, but even that looks to be quite repetitive. Why does the Wii continue to mock the motion controls it promised us would be so great?
I know E3 is in full effect right now so basically every video we see for the next few days will be some kind of announcement from the show and Rock Band 2 is no different. Here is the supposed gameplay reveal from E3 for Rock Band 2, I call shenanigans on this video. What gameplay are they showing us that anyone that has played RB1 is not aware of, yes we kind of figured we would be playing scrolling notes again, thanks for pointing out the obvious here fellas. I do like the music selection but the game looks identical, will this just be another $60 for new songs? Guess we will have to wait anxiously for more “gameplay” videos.
