This is Vegas is looking better every time I check it out. There is a mechanic for dancing, gambling, fighting, driving and pretty much everything you need to do in Vegas. Even drinking is factored into the game and having to take a piss. You get to bartend and have people party with you, pretty interesting and very different from what I was expecting, thought this would be a straight GTA rip off but there are a lot of side objectives and mini games to change up the game and make it unique. So have you ever wondered what happens to the Rainbow group after all the terrorists get put away? Well here you have it, looks like a bit of heavy drinking combined with some gambling. I like the logic that a flashbang will get rid of crabs the same way it gets rid of tangos, confuse them and leave them ripe for the picking. Too bad it does not work as planned and he just gets a flashbang down his pants.
Here is the trailer for This is Vegas, Midway’s newest title revolving around life in Vegas coming soon. The game looks to throw you into a life of partying, gambling, violence and fast cars, sounds pretty tight so far. The trailer shows a bit of everything and really has a Grand Theft Auto feel to it. The Loot Ninja crew was in Atlantic City this weekend for some debauchery and good times. As a recap, here’s what went down:
Two editors were chased by no less than 8 security guards through the casino
One editor has welts all over his ass
One editor slept in the fetal position and tried to use the curtains as a blanket
The rules for the champagne room were broken
One editor has a $200 “miscellaneous” charge on his Amex
Many other things that can’t be discussed here, but produced a lot of good times
We’re all back now, but we’re a little tired. Personally I spent a little over 14 hours in the car this weekend and didn’t get much sleep. Today might be a little slower than normal, so bear with us
You might notice that this weekend’s stories will be a little light compared to previous weekends. That’s because the entire Loot Ninja crew will be descending upon Atlantic City today for the bachelor party of yours truly.
We’ve got a lot of content stored and ready to go and will get it out there to you as soon as we can (thank God for the iPhone). I’m sure there’s going to be some good stories come Monday morning, mostly involving me being humiliated in some way. Buy hey, at least I get to play some Craps and Blackjack.
