Yeah, things have gone too far. Yesterday we told you all about the hatred between Too Human developer Denis Dyack and the NeoGAF forums. Today, he’s been banned. Yep, for good.
As Confucius once said, “the photoshop cat juggles a ball of yarn, and unravels it all over his face.” You are Baldur, Denis. You’re the poorly animated bald Norse technogod, the Übermensch with a thousand pointless book references misunderstood by the dirty proles who aren’t worthy enough to judge you.
Your favorite Nietzsche quote, “he who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster,” is one you’ve fallen victim to yourself, if your opinion of this site is to be taken to heart. In these pitiable confrontations with us you’ve proven to be the monster of gaming development, a sore on the industry and a squanderer of your subordinates’ time and effort. Through all this, through this self-inflicted PR nightmare, you’ve conquered vast new frontiers of unwarranted hyperbole and desperate pseudo-intellectual grasping. Buy an unaccredited doctorate, change your given name to Derek, and take up the reins; Derek Smart would eagerly defer to the greatness of Dr. Dyack.
What is an appropriate action to take in response to the man who continues to post here? I won’t be tolerating a second retconned “social experiment,” a second call for NeoGAF’s closing, or a second “worst forum” insult. You decided to ignore the option for real terms for your pointless tag bet, so with the majority of reviews condemning your magnum opus to mediocrity I’ll claim a suitable prize by telling you to get the hell off NeoGAF.
Wow. That’s what I call pwnage right there. Dyack runs his mouth then won’t back it up, then NeoGAF goes and bans him for calling them out. Pwnage on both sides.

I caught myself just now in a bit of a conundrum, you may ask what that might be and it is that I was excited about playing Too Human for quite some time now, but there has been so much press and fanfare that it is getting to the point of annoying. Too Human first came out to huge acclaim and then people pooped all over it once they got their hands on it. There was talk of the game being too short and not having any replay value. Some have even gone as far to cal it the Haze of the Xbox 360. (Now that is just hurtful)
Denis Dyack also continues to throws his two cents in the mix and now there are countless numbers of reviews for the game and discussion. Too Human for me will be an interesting game and I have chosen to not play the demo and not read any reviews, it is a game that I want to experience for myself. I want to review it for everyone, but I may even refrain from that as well seeing as the reviews out now are all over the place, there is no consensus on the title and now it is just a virtual pissing contest.

Apparently Denis Dyack decided in his infinite wisdom to take on an entire forum and defend his already controversial Too Human title. So far it has gotten quite a beating but that does not stop Dyack form publicly going out and pushing his product and slamming anyone who disagrees. I don’t mind him standing up for his title but I think calling out an entire forum is childish and I know it creates publicity for his title and may even make people by it, but is uncalled for. Plus I happen to like NeoGAF.
When asked why he chose to shout out NeoGAF he had this to say:
NeoGAF is considered to be the worst, and I would say is probably the worst forum. And so, you might as well pick the worst one. Why not? So, that was the idea of that. Forums in general… The US military has really stopped using text because it resulted in too many instances of insubordination, so forums in general are just negative. There are some positive ones, but in general they’re negative, and people need to understand that, because there’s a very vocal minority that is generally negative and you’ve just got to let that stuff go. That was the reason why.

This popped up on the Inifinity Ward Forums:
With the latest Playstation 3 firmware now available, I see a lot of questions regarding how it effects Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.
At this time, we have no plans to patch in Trophy support for Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare for the PS3. Much like DualShock rumble addition to the PS3, the support for these new features have come much to late for us to add it to Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare due to our current production schedule.
All I can say is this sucks, I have an un-opened copy of COD 4 for my PS3 just sitting and waiting for trophies, but it looks like that dream is gone. COD 4 gets no rumble or trophy support, this is just horrible. This also is a sign of things to come, something tells me that we will see many other game companies use the same lame excuse and trophies will only become available for new games.
This is a big blow to the new trophy system for PS3.

There are always glitch sin games and GTA IV is no different folks, the previous titles also had them. her is a pretty simple one if you want to get rid of your wanted level or if you have the Xbox 360 version, get the ‘One Man Army’ achievement without breaking a sweat.
Before I end a lengthy GTA IV session I make it a point to make a hard save at a safe house and since I was in the vicinity I landed up at the safe house in Middle Park East (as shown in the image below). Now I got into a scuffle with one of the pedestrians and since I was in no mood to indulge in a fist fight with him, I just shot him. Luckily there were cops nearby and they turned their attention toward me. Since I had already hard saved a minute back I decided to dick around a bit. One thing led to another and I ended up killed tons of cops as a result of which I was stuck with a nice four star rating.
And that’s when I decided to run into the lobby of the safe house where I killed even more cops and members of the swat team that kept pouring in. Pretty soon I had a five star rating and just as I was about to die I made it to the lift marker that transported me to the safe house where I waited for nearly 10 minutes with a five star rating without worrying about the cops chasing me down.
It is pretty cheesy, but may come in handy every once in a while. What do you guys think, to glitch or not to glitch, that is the question?

As some of you may have already heard I had the opportunity to check out UFC 83 Live in Montreal, which was the showcase for the big rematch between Matt “The Terror” Serra and George “Rush” St. Pierre. This was actually my first Live UFC event I have ever been to so the expectations were very high and I have to say that I have been a big UFC fan for a while and watched many events on pay per view, but Live in an arena is un-matched!
The Canadian fans are a lively group and will cheer as loud as they can at any given time, to the point where you can hear them in the restrooms. As this card was full of Canadian born UFC athletes, this was one loud event.
Some spoilers after the jump, so readers beware if you have not seen the matches yet.

Fanboy Parody Song
Yes the fanboy, a rare breed of individual that is so in love with his/her console that they are willing to defend it at any and all costs. Trolling through forums and blogs to throw out comments that make no sense other than to incite a riot between different fans of different camps. Here is a parody song that sums up the life of a fanboy set to the tune of Nine Inch Nails’ Hurt.
