I haven’t touched Fat Princess since I made the switch to the PS3 Slim. It has nothing to do with the actual game, but the fact that all online statistics are tied to your game save which cannot be moved between consoles. The news that the game is receiving a major patch and a free new map might have me starting over in my quest to fatten up that royal chick.
Titan Studios has been beta testing New Pork City for a while and it looks like a solid addition to game’s lineup of maps. To go along with the new setting, there will be major gameplay tweaks, character balancing, and scoring updates. It’s too much to list right here, so hit the jump and check out all the changes.
The patch is coming soon, so keep firing up your copy of Fat Princess and see if you can download all the new goodies.

I’ve been infatuated with Fat Princess for over a year since I first got my hands on the game. A class-based capture the flag game where the flag is a chick that you fatten up with cake, how does it get any better? After delays and extended beta periods, we were finally graced with the game only to be plagued by multiple network issues. Sony cranked out a patch quickly, all is well and I can’t stop playing Fat Princess.

A simple picture can say a lot these days. What is that old saying? A picture is worth 1,000 words? But what if that picture is OF 1,000 words? Does that make it worth 2,000 words? I don’t know…..
Titan Studios, creator of the PSN title Fat Princess, just released a few pictures on Titan Studio’s website showing new Pirate and Ninja characters. Have you got something to announce Titan? Don’t make me hold your head under the hot investigation lamp!

I heart Fat Princess. While the game has been plagued with multiplayer lag and connection issues like a large number of recent PS3 releases, it’s still a damn fun game. Titan Studios whipped up a patch to fix all the problems you’ve been experiencing in a timely manner and it’s now available for you to download. Fire up the game and get her all fixed up.
Our review will be coming shortly for Fat Princess. Could I have reviewed the game prior to the patch? Sure. Do I think waiting a week to give a better representation of the game was a better decision? Yes, I do. Make sure to check back early next week for our full review. Based on the first sentence here, you can get a general feel of how the review will go.

Over the past few months, I’ve been anxiously awaiting the release of Fat Princess on the PlayStation Network. After getting my hands on the game a few times and participating in the private Beta, I couldn’t wait to have the full experience. Making a chick fat by shoving cake in her gullet has never been so much fun. The wait is finally over though, as Deb Mars, the game’s producer, let loose that Fat Princess will be available this Thursday for $14.99.
Don’t get upset over the price, Fat Princess is worth every penny. You can play as one of four classes in up to 32 player online blood stained battles in an effort to recover your portly princess from the evil clutches of the opposing team. Trust me, it’s insanely fun.
Save up your clams and get ready to feed some digital hotties. If you’re looking for me after Thursday afternoon, you’ll know where to find me.

I think above all console digital distribution platforms, the PSN continues to be at the forefront of leading innovation and amazingly fun original titles. The latest being Fat Princess from Darkstar Industries. The concept is simple; two teams of medieval soldiers battle it out to try and get your princess back from the opposing team’s clutches. The gameplay, however, is surprisingly deep, comical, and full of fun. I’d heard a good deal regarding Fat Princess previously but had never gotten my hands on, so I was skeptical of all the hype. After playing it at Sony’s PlayStation.Blog Lounge at GDC, I cannot wait for its release this summer on the PSN.
The game employs a cell shaded look, which is popular right now in various titles. You are among either the red or blue team trying to rescue your princess and prevent the other team from doing the same. As the title suggests, you can continuously feed the princess cake to make her rather portly. The purpose of this insanely funny act is to make it harder for the opposing team to carry her out of your castle. Instead of just one person needed to carry a skinny princess, it’s harder for the other team to get a hefty girl out of the castle without rushing multiple people.
