The very anticipated demo for EndWar is now finally out on Xbox Live. The game is supposed to be the RTS to end them all, no pun intended, and promises to allow a new level of worldwide co-op play. Most console gamers are not big on RTS because a mouse and keyboard and by far the best way to play it, but this could be a lot of fun.
WMD. Weapons for Mass Destruction for our slower readers. In EndWar, you will be able to use such weapons, but only when your nuts are against the ceiling fan. If you do use one, the other guy can use one as well. So be careful. When its Defcon 1, its on like Donkey Kong.
World War III is upon us and its up to you to fight it. Here is a trailer, sort of. It looks like it could be the tutorial at the beginning of the game. Either way, this is shaping up like no RTS we have ever seen it. Pick a side and turn the tides of history.
The game promises to be a true global RTS. I am eager to see how this works. These types of games seem to have a huge learning curve and people tend to get real good real quick. The game looks amazing, RTS’s usually do. Let’s wait and see how it actually plays.
Tom Clancy always delivered the goods in his tactical shooters and espionage games. Let’s see if he can deliver on an RTS, a very hard market to break into. You can control the game with just your voice. This is the trailer from E3. Check it out and let the games begin
Apparently in 2020, we are all pretty much screwed. The world will be in shambles and the remaining superpowers will fight for whatever is left behind. The story is nothing new, but this is the first real RTS from Tom Clancy and Co. You can expect some awesome gameplay and great graphics. The RTS market is a tough one to get a read on. Some people are hardcore but most don’t bother because the learning curve can be too high or just frustrating. I think EndWar will change all that.
Ubisoft released a trailer today to show off a bit of gameplay footage for Tom Clany’s EndWar. It’s not too much, but it’s definitely enough to grab your attention. I’m excited for the voice command for the game. I hope it ships with a real sword that I can slam on the table when my troops fail a mission. Ahhh the power.

Here’s another trailer from UbiDay for EndWar, coming later this year. The new RTS game in the Tom Clancy line is set to use a lot of voice control to setup and move your troops around. Should prove to be an interesting control scheme for console RTS.

The new issue of Electronic Gaming Monthly (EGM, for everyone who loves acronyms) is now out on newsstands, with a cover story about the new Tom Clancy game, EndWar.
What touched me about the magazine was their rumor sections. One of the rumors is that Team Ninja is working on an exclusive Dead or Alive title for the PS3.
Has Itagaki-san fallen in love with the PS3 while developing Ninja Gaiden Sigma? Team Ninja has almost been solely exclusive to the Xbox and 360, so making a jump to the PS3 would be a big shocker for the industry.
