Who doesn’t love playing the claw in the mall or the new fancy light timing game in the hopes to win some fancy piece of electronics? Watch as these kids actually win at one of these games, but are denied their glorious prize. The Wii that was meant to be their prize just sits in the game slot stuck, mocking the kids and laughing as it remains encased in its fortress of solitude.
One suggestion would have been to rock that bad boy until the Wii just fell into position. I would do it all the time with the vending machines stole my Twix.
For bragging rights, name the movie the title of the article is taken from?
This is a pretty interesting report on how a group of researchers is working on contacts with built in electronics that could be used for enhanced vision. The possibilities of this kind of technological advance are huge, the capability to zoom in on things, night vision or even playing video games without a television. Obviously the most important one being the last point about gaming with your contacts! Only problem I can see is how do you power these remotely and not electrocute your eyes?
Don’t know if anyone has seen or used this site, but figured I would make a quick post for buying purchases. I know my Third post in less than 24 hours. I’m crazy. LOL.
Ok let me say that this printer was a gift for my wife mostly, but I have to admit that it is pretty sweet. The HP 7100 does it all, it slices it dices, actually it is a scanner, fax, copier, printer all in one. It also has wireless connectivity as well as Bluetooth. The printer was a breeze to set up and has the ability to print photos form both a USB source and memory card slots built into the side of the printer. I hooked it right into my wireless network and it works great, I can print from any laptop easily. The print quality for photos is also high quality, all in all the HP 7100 is a nice piece of equipment that is easy to use and versatile and I am still getting used to my wife printing form the other room and having it spit out at the printer.
Overall Rating : 9.5 out of 10 (It is a bit large so it lost 0.5 points.)
January 25 - 31 is now the newest holiday - Winter-een-mas- a gaming holiday for all to enjoy. Ok so this isn’t a real government holiday, but a made up holiday from a character on a cartoon website known as Ctrl-Alt-Delete, but it’s the thought that counts. I mean gaming is reaching new heights, online gaming, tournaments, professional gaming, in game marketing, merchandising and now even a pseudo holiday. Many people gather around at this time and have huge LAN parties in the spirit of good gaming, maybe Winter-een-mas will continue to gain popularity like a snowball rolling down a hill?
What is Winter-een-mas? When exactly is Winter-een-mas?
So I decide to visit my cousin who lives near Woodbury Commons in NY for New Years and we decide to hit up a Best Buy. We walk in on a quest for Mario Hoops and Naruto for the DS, during the car ride over my cousin tells me how a buddy of his had found him a PS3 earlier in the week, but he decided against it and would wait until he finds one himself in a store. We walk over to the electronics department and look through the DS stuff and find what we are looking for, so I decide to ask the kid in electronics my stupid question of the day… “So do you have any Wii’s or PS3’s?”. Typically this question gets back a smile or laugh or even a go fuck yourself look but not on this day, the kid looked at me and said “I have a few PS3’s but no Wii’s.” I have to say the look on our faces was like that of a kid being told he could watch free porn, we quickly walked over to the table he instructed us to and my cousin grabbed his 60 Gb version, while I waited for them to bring out a couple more. They brought out a hand truck loaded with 60 Gb PS3’s, I thought I was hallucinating, but no they were all real. I stood there with a PS3 in one hand and Resistance Fall of Man in the other and thought to myself should I do this??? Being an avid gamer this was the hardest decision of my life, getting a system that so many craze and desire or being realistic when I figured that the system ($600), the controller ($50) and a game ($60) would be a hefty price tag to swallow after getting a new DS to go with my PSP and 360. Too many games, not enough cash and too little time made me decide against it, I know I must be crazy for giving it up but I think I can wait. I did also realize something else and that is this whole myth about the new systems being unavailable until March is bullshit! That Best Buy had a stack of them in broad daylight months before the predicted March deadline, I think you will see many more systems creeping up within the next few weeks as the hype and deflated demand are no longer necessary before the holidays.
