Devil May Cry 4 Limited Edition Edition Tin Pack Shot

DMC4 LE Tin

Capcom revealed what we expect to look at with the Limited Edition of Devil May Cry 4. The tin will feature Nero on the front and Dante on the back.

Looks pretty cool if you ask me. Matches what we can expect from the in-game graphics. Can’t wait to slay some demons.

Graphics comparisons between Xbox 360 and PS3

Recently we put up a video of The Orange Box showing a split screen between Xbox 360 and PS3 video from our friends over at Gametrailers. Well they have just put up another one that compares everyones favorite demon hunter and Devil May Cry. At first I was interested too watch it, but once again I can’t see a damn difference. You can see the video below, but unless you have super human vision or are very anal retentive there is no difference in frame rate or anything, which brings me to what I was really thinking about… why?

Why bother making these types of comparisons if they don’t show or prove anything? I thought the comparison would show some kind of clear advantage over the other platform. That would be more useful to me, than to show me split screen video of the same quality stuff. To me this is just a video to see if fanboys will jump all over each other and profess their love of either system. Plus who gives a shit, DMC4 is going to own all on either platform and this just proved it to me again.

What do you guys think?

Devil May Cry 4 - Dante Gameplay Foootage

We now bring you some crazy cool gameplay footage of Dante in the new Devil May Cry 4 game.

No HD version this time, sorry peeps.

Team Ninja Hates Devil May Cry 4

Ninja Gaiden Sigma ScreenshotGames Radar interviewed Ninja Gaiden Sigma’s producer, Yosuke Hayashi and associate producer Andrew Szymanski to get the team’s thoughts on the game and it’s competition. Yeah, they get some interesting answers.

I’ll just say this: Team Ninja is cocky as hell. Sure, Ninja Gaiden is a great game. But basically, Sigma is a re-hash of the Xbox 1 game with better graphics, tweaked gameplay (we hear it’s even harder than Ninja Gaiden Black), and new characters. Doesn’t make it game of the year, in my book.

So what did Team Ninja have to say about their competition?

We don’t really have any competitors right now. When our game comes out, it’s going to be the undisputed king of action games. We have a lot of games behind us that are gonna try to play catch-up, but nothing right in front of us that we could call a competitor. I think that Ninja Gaiden Sigma is gonna set the bar that games that come after are going to be compared to.

Riiiiiight. Because God of War 2 isn’t a terrific action game.

When asked about DMC4, here’s what they had to say:

I have seen Devil May Cry 4, but it’s basically a totally different philosophy from what we do. If you look at their trailer that they have online, you’ll see that none of the enemies attack you. None of the enemies attack whatsoever. That’s a game where the enemies only exist to provide a target for all of your combos, and they don’t really do anything else. For us, we’re a combat-action game; our enemies are alive, they think, they attack you, and if you don’t actively defend yourself, you’re going to die really quick. So it’s a basic difference in philosophy. We’re an action game, they’re kind of a “let’s see how stylishly we can show off these combos and get a high score” kind of thing. So if the people playing think that’s stylish, then more power to them.

Someone should tell Team Ninja that shitting on other games isn’t going to sell more copies of Ninja Gaiden Sigma.

Devil May Cry 4 Gameplay Trailer

Yesterday we brought you the Tokyo Game Show trailer for Devil May Cry 4. Today, we’ve got a full gameplay trailer. This game looks really good. Animations looks very crisp and the framerate doesnt look to drop with a lot of enemies on screen.

Looking forward to choosing between the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of this game.

Devil May Cry 4 Multiplatform Confirmed

Devil May Cry ArtFor those who want to play Devil May Cry 4, but have no desire to buy a PS3, you can now rejoice. Capcom today confirmed that DMC4 is being developed for the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC.

This is huge news for Xbox 360 and PC gamers, and somewhat bad news for PS3 gamers. The PS3 is losing exclusives left and right. Can’t say I blame Capcom here, it’s a smart business decision to get your game into as many hands as possible.

How long before we see Metal Gear Solid 4 confirmed as coming out on multiple platforms?
