Puzzle games come and go, but really good addicting puzzlers are a little more scarce. Critter Crunch completely falls into the latter category. A cute 2D hand drawn art style with simple, yet difficult to master gameplay and a ton of different puzzles make this a must buy for any PS3 owner.

I slept on Critter Crunch. I’m not going to lie. Why? Very little information was out about the game, there was no demo, and it dropped the week before Uncharted 2. Three critical strikes in getting me to buy the game. However, after some coaxing from both Nick Chester from Destructoid and Chris Paladino from Promethium Marketing (formerly Gamerscore Blog at Microsoft), I dropped my hard earned ducats on the game on my PS3 this afternoon. It is well worth the purchase.
If you’re a fan of puzzle games, get off your ass an buy this game right now. For the small fee of $6.99, you’ll get one hell of a game. Our full review will be coming early next week, but suffice it to say I didn’t want to stop playing once I fired up the game. My wife is even asking about playing more Critter Crunch. With slow sales through this point, do your part and help a good developer out. Capybara did a great job on this game and you should get out there and show your support.
