Gamers of this generation are getting much better at first-person shooters on consoles and the PC, so it’s no surprise that developers are looking to make the games we play harder.  I am definitely not in the same gamer league as that annoying 12 year old kid with Mt. Dew infused reflexes in Halo 3.  He is always there to sneak up and elbow me in the face with catlike speed, only to let me know just how bad I am by tea-bagging me over and over again on my lifeless corpse.  I hear him over the mic saying things like, “I’ve been away for 5 minutes and I’m STILL in the lead?”  It just makes me want to reach through my wireless headset and punch him in his pre-pubescent braces.

GRID for Xbox 360 is Broken Like Whoa

GRID Screen

Yeah, I went there. If you haven’t heard “like whoa” in a few years, welcome back.

If you’re over in Europe and have GRID already for Xbox 360, you might be screwed. The game is suffering from some horrible pausing and freezing issues. GRID is scheduled for release in the US this week and no fix is out yet. Codemasters says a fix is coming in “the next few weeks.” You can check out a video of the issues after the jump.

You know, this type of thing is totally unacceptable. The game is virtually unplayable for most people. Where is the QA? There are entirely too many games shipping broken thee days. It’s sad and it’s a big problem that needs to be addressed.
