GRID for Xbox 360 is Broken Like Whoa

GRID Screen

Yeah, I went there. If you haven’t heard “like whoa” in a few years, welcome back.

If you’re over in Europe and have GRID already for Xbox 360, you might be screwed. The game is suffering from some horrible pausing and freezing issues. GRID is scheduled for release in the US this week and no fix is out yet. Codemasters says a fix is coming in “the next few weeks.” You can check out a video of the issues after the jump.

You know, this type of thing is totally unacceptable. The game is virtually unplayable for most people. Where is the QA? There are entirely too many games shipping broken thee days. It’s sad and it’s a big problem that needs to be addressed.

GRID, watchout GT5 there’s a new kid in town

This was one of my first looks at GRID and I have to say that the graphics look amazing and the variety of car types is impressive. What is shown is actual gameplay footage and some of the shots rival any racing game out there. There are a few crash sequences that were incredible, especially the mid air crash, look out for this Codemasters racer to hit you this summer.

Overlord: Raising Hell DLC details

OverlordSo it is confirmed that there will actually be a total of three different downloadable packs for Overlod on the Xbox 360. One will be free and two are labeled as premium, which means we will be paying, no prices set for the premium packs just yet. Get set for some new levels, new multiplayer maps and modes, confirmed split screen co-op action and a new difficulty, The split screen co-op alone is worth the download, I can only hope the prices for the premium content stays reasonable.
