Did you miss out on Fallout 3 or maybe had a pet jackalope eat your game disc? Amazon has you covered! They’re peddling the PS3 edition of Fallout 3 today for $19.98. It’s not the Game of the Year version, so you aren’t getting all the DLC, but if you just want to experience to core gameplay and save a few bucks, it’s definitely worth the purchase.
My recommendation is to just go for this deal and get the one DLC package that expands the level cap to 30, Broken Steel. You’ll save money on the GoTY edition and still a lot of awesome gameplay. What are you waiting for?

Okay, this post is for all you broke, penniless, spindle toting gamers like me who can barely afford to pay attention.
We here at Loot Ninja are all poor, working stiffs, thanks mostly to our wives and/or girlfriends spending all our money on useless random crap, like “furniture” and “the water bill”. This does not include Scuba, because he’s a fancy man and loves to sit naked on his imported Scandinavian furniture, while sipping expensive wine and nibbling cheese cubes.
Anyways, we will be bringing back the old “Broke Bastard Alerts”, and trying to polish that turd up a little more. We like to think of ourselves as the oil speculators of the gaming market. Rest assured, when the prices drop, we are ALL over it.
Here’s the deals for this go round.
- DLC titles Brain Challenge, Street Fighter II Hyper Fighting, and 3D Ultra MiniGolf Adventures are now available at 400 Microsoft Points each on XBLA.
- Amazon.com this week price cut Xbox Live Gold Card SKU’s by 20%, including the Xbox Live 3-month Gold Card at $15.99, and the Xbox Live 12-month Gold Card at $39.99
So get ‘em while the gettin’s good.
As usual, user submissions are welcome, so if you see a great deal on anything gaming related, send it our way and we’ll post it up.

Being a cheap ass bastard and it being a recession, I’ve cut my gaming purchases back until things are on sale or free. In the UK, retailer GAME has put on a Spring Sale clearing lots of stock. I picked up Gears of War 2 new for a lower price than I can buy it used, and also managed to grab Star Wars The Best of PC for 20 quid. That’s 6 games for the price of 1 new game, bitchin. If you are looking for some old classics I suggest you check out the PC section where you can get 3 games for 10 quid. Other retailers such as Asda have cut prices as well, so there are plenty of good deals to get out there. Post in the comments any good deals you see out there.

This weekend only you can pick up The Orange Box for 66% off on Steam. That’s Half-Life 2, Episodes 1 & 2, Lost Coast, Portal, and Team Fortress 2 for $9.99 or £5.66 for those who deal in Queen’s head. If you haven’t picked up any of these titles you are missing out on some great gaming, so head over to Steam and get cracking before sundown on Sunday. I picked it up just to have Portal on my PC. My love affair with Steam has been rekindled.
