Here is the big list of top 100 selling titles over the last 12 months. Pretty interesting to see what the top ten games sold are, especially with FIFA beating Madden, COD4 beating out Halo 3, Pokemon still being in the mix after all these years and Brain Age coming in strong to round out the top 10.

10 - Brain Age 2: More Brain Training in Minutes a Day
9 - Super Mario Galaxy
8 - Assassin’s Creed
7 - Pokemon Diamond/Pearl
6 - Need for Speed Pro Street
5 - Madden 08
4 - FIFA 08
3 - Guitar Hero 3
2 - Halo 3
1 - Call of Duty 4

Reflexes of a Ninja - 2008

Got NinjaSo you always wanted to know if you had what it takes to be a Ninja huh? Shoot! so have we here at Loot Ninja central, but now you can test your skill on the Nintendo Wii and DS, with Relexes of Ninja. EA has teamed up with Nunchuck Games Inc. to co-publish a Ninja based party game, which I applaud. Looks like EA has love for Ninja as well and is hoping to get this title out into our Nunchuking hands in 2008, multiplayer Ninja fights could prove to be interesting, although so far it sounds like a Brain Academy style game with a Ninja theme.

From the official press release:

Nintendo at E for All - Showing off its goodies

Smash Bros BrawlAfter hearing of a lot of people bowing out of the lastest edition of E for All (looks at Sony and MS), it looks like Nintendo is looking to capitalize their monopoly at the E for All Expo now. If you happen to be in the in the Los Angeles area from October 18 to the 20th, you might want to stop by the Convention Center to check out the newest installment of Nintendo games, especially Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Super Mario Galaxy.

In addition, Nintendo will host a daily Super Smash Bros. Brawl tournament. Competitors get a free Wii-themed T-shirt, and a different T-shirt will be available each day of the show.

Although the lineup is subject to change, the complete list of games for Nintendo systems scheduled to appear at E for All include:

Wii
Super Mario Galaxy
Super Smash Bros. Brawl

Schmups Skill Test - Brain Age for Shooters

Schmups Test 1

The Japanese arcade scene is crazy. Here’s some more proof: there’s a multi-station training game that’s like the Brain Age for shooter games.

From FortNinety on the NeoGaf forums:

Basically, it’s a series of tests, presented in the form of short exercises to flex one’s various shump related skills, like dodging, hit box targeting, and the such. Kinda like Brain Age… but for shooters! Each game is packed with all sorts of references and in-jokes… one had you simply shooting at tokens, with the boss being some old sit-down, 80’s bar-style Space Invaders machines, pictured in the first snapshot. In the third is another game in which you have to shoot the garbage into the trash bin. I couldn’t really understand what was going on since it was heavy text-wise, at least the in-between rounds, analysis portion of the game.

Sounds pretty damn interesting. I wish the arcade scene would take off here in the US. I miss throwing down some quarters with friends.

More pics after the jump.
