The BIGS looks like a polished up SLugfest and let me tell you SLugfest was fun! This looks pretty sweet, I like the fact that if you hit a dinger off the scoreboard you can break it, I hope they leave that in!
There are actually some rather large names on here coming up by the end of the year and next year. I hadn’t realized just how many titles Take Two was involved with, between GTA, All-Pro Football 2k8, Bioshock and Manhunt 2 alone their plates are way full.

2K Sports announced today that The BIGS soundtrack was going BIG or going HOME! They got every heavy guitar riffing band they could scrounge together and threw them on their soundtrack, to compliment their hard hitting new title.

The BIGS is coming this summer with crazy game play in the vain of MLB Slugfest, with some sweet online play as well, for all systems, so stay tuned for some Blitz style baseball folks. Hold on to your peanuts, cuz the BIGS are taking you downtown, PLAY BALL!
2K’s new baseball game, The Bigs, sets to blend together the 2k7 games with that of MLB Slugfest. Needless to say, there’s going to be some high power arcade baseball action in this game. Look for this game coming to an Xbox 360 or PS3 near you this summer.
Expect to have a new baseball game this summer and it should be a blast reports Gametactics.com BIGS baseball plans to combine classic baseball with some good old fashioned arcade fun that the Slugfest games tried and failed miserably. It will now also be on the Wii whereas it was reported to only be on the PS3 and Xbox2360. There will be wall grabs, mammoth home runs and other ordinary tasks made amazing because in BIGS, ever play could be a game changer. And the best part, the game is MLB licensed, so you can play as your favorite major leaguer. Expect BIGS to hit the shelves in August.
