If Fosters’ is Australian for beer, then what is Australian for jackass? 3 men were arrested yesterday down under when their PS3 and one game case contained 3400 hits of Ecstasy. Not sure how they do prison down there, but word is these guys are looking at life. Most likely in a federal “pound me in the ass” prison. Not really sure how they got nabbed, but they are in the deepest of shit. They were all 18-20 yrs old. Worst. Decision. Ever.

Poor Australia. They don’t get to join in all the unadulterated fun that is Grand Theft Auto IV. In order to obtain an MA15+ rating, Rockstar had to tone the game down for the land down under. Since Australia doesn’t have a higher rating, like the US and Europe, there’s no way to prevent the game from getting into the hands of those under the age of 17/18.
A Rockstar spokesperson confirmed to Screen Play yesterday that the company had produced a special version of GTA IV to comply with the Australian classification system, which does not currently contain an R18+ rating, but declined to reveal what material had been cut
This seems like a flaw in the Australian ratings system. Maybe the introduction of an 18+ rating would solve the issue and allow full versions of these games to be released. For the sake of our gamer friends there, I hope so.

The heralded shooter from Sega Europe, The Club, makes its way to XBL tomorrow. This demo will be available only in UK and Australia as will the game as of right now. This only applies to all our friends across the pond, but if the game is as good as Sega is saying it is, you can be sure we will get it in the states sooner that later as opposed to never. Hit the more for the official details of the demo.
