Are you creative? Do you share a love of video games? Do you like dressing up? Do you have nothing else to do? Then maybe you can hang with these guys. Check out this fan interpretation of Assassin’s Creed.
Having trouble getting the Assassin badge in Metal Gear Solid 4 but desperately want Solid Snake to look like Altair? You’re in luck, as Famitsu has published a code to unlock the cool costume for you.
As long as you have the Metal Gear Mk. II, you’ll be all set. And if you don’t, you’re less than 20 minutes into the game. Shape up. Anyway, to unlock the Altair costume, go to the camoflauge menu and enter the code “aottrykmyn”. That’s it. Also, if you enter “jmsotsynrn” you’ll get the Type 17 pistol.
Go fire up MGS4 and give it another play through. See how much you get noticed by enemies with that costume. My guess is stealth goes out the window.
The year is set for 1190 AD and the Third Crusade is engulfing the Holy Land as Crusaders clash with Saracens to control the Holy City of Jerusalem. This version of Assassin’s Creed is a prequel to its big brother on the consoles and puts our young assassin on a quest to find a sacred object of great importance, the Chalice. The Chalice apparently has the power to turn the tides of war for whoever holds it, so Altair must find it for the greater good of all.
The graphics of this title are limited to the DS and are unfair to compare with it’s console versions, but for the most part the DS version of Assassin’s Creed does a good job visually. You never lose site of Altair or confuse characters on screen. The lower portion of the DS is used as a Mini Map to show you where enemies and objectives are located. The bottom screen is a complete top down view of what you are looking at on the top screen of your DS. Read More »
If you liked Assassins Creed then you are gonna love Awesome’s Creed. This a pretty funny parody on the game and although the animation on it is pretty basic it does bring the funny. What do you think?
Prototype + NYC = Sheer Awesomeness! As a resident of NYC my whole life, all of the pre-alpha screens look incredible and their vision for landmarks and interactivity with pedestrians looks to shape up very nicely in this game. This seems to have an Assassins Creed feel set in NYC, which will make for a great game, add in some decent game play and you have a winner.
To go along with it’s hefty system requirements, Assassin’s Creed for PC will get a few extra missions to satisfy your killing needs.
According to a press release from Ubisoft, there will be four new exclusive types of investigations. So no longer will you be pigeon holed into pick-pocketing or sitting and observing.
I really enjoyed Assassin’s Creed, and would love the extra investigation types and missions, but there’s no way my PC will run this game at a high enough level. I’ll stick to the console version.
Its no wonder that PC gaming has become a relatively small market these days. The smash hit, no matter what some reviewers said, Assassins Creed, is coming to PC and you better have a machine that can run it. Here are the recommended specs:

Yeah. Basically you can spend close to 3 grand to play the PC version, or about 400 bucks to play the next gen console version. Does anyone else find this absurd?
If you are one of many who has been experiencing glitch after glitch in Assassins Creed, no worry. The patch is available now. The game will auto update, so just load and wait.
Don’t worry, I am not going to put any spoilers here.
My brother and I finished Assassins Creed last night and the ending left us very, very confused. Here is a great Q and A to what the ending meant and the future of the game. If you have not beaten the game yet, hold off on clicking on the guide, but if you have, this is a must read. It made me feel a lot better about the game once some answers were clarified. There is a wealth of information here and be sure to read all the way to the end. Actually, it made we want to play through it again.
This game showed up in our mailbox early last week and we saw some of the initial reviews for the game and they ran the proverbial gamut. Some sites gave the game a 10 of 10 and some a 7. Usually, the gaming media comes to an ultimate consensus but this time was an anomaly. If you ask five different people, you will get five different opinions. We decided to play the game at a reasonable pace as opposed to rushing through to give a review ahead of everyone else or basing your opinion on hype and trailers alone. Loot Ninja has decided to throw their hat in the mix. Read on my friends.
We're like Spaceballs... we're making Loot Ninja everything. Coming soon we'll have hats, shirts, hoodies, possibly banana hammocks if one Editor has his way...
Check out the shirt prototypes here and the hats here
