left-4-dead-2-cast

There’s a ton of big new releases today for your shopping needs. Assassin’s Creed 2, Left 4 Dead 2, Tony Hawk Ride, God of War Collection, and LittleBigPlanet for PSP highlight the show. Are you buying any the big names today? I’m definitely grabbing Left 4 Dead 2 and the God of War Collection this week. Assassin’s Creed 2 is on my “must-buy” list, but it’s going to have to wait a couple weeks until I have more time.

What about you? Which games are you picking up this week or adding to your Christmas list? Who wants to shoot zombies with me on 360?

Assassin’s Creed Lineage Episode 1

If you weren’t excited enough for Assassin’s Creed 2, Ubisoft started releasing their half real life, half CGI Lineage series for the game. The first episode is nothing short of awesome. I’m going to stop writing so you can start watching.

Assassin’s Creed II – Assassin’s Creed in 3 Minutes

It may have been awhile since you last played and beat Assassin’s Creed. The game did a complete 180 on all of us when it was revealed what the real story was. If you haven’t played the first game and don’t want to be spoiled, skip over. For the rest of  us, this is a great 3 minute synopsis to remind us what we are going to be doing when AC2 drops on us. If you haven’t played AC yet, rent that shit asap.

Assassin’s Creed II – TGS 09: Assassination Interview

As if you needed anymore reasons to be excited for the sequel to the smash hit Assassin’s Creed II. If you remember correctly, critics were none to kind to the game in the advanced reviews, but as people played it more and more, it sort of grew on you. The story threw us for a huge twist, but now we know what to expect and expect some stealth action and swan diving coming your way Nov. 17.

New Assassin’s Creed II Trailer is Sexy

Ubisoft released a new trailer for Assassin’s Creed II at the Tokyo Game Show. The video shows off how Enzio becomes an assassin and works his revenge. The gameplay footage in here is looking very polished, so I can’t wait until mid November to get into the game.

Spring 2010 Will Hurt Your Wallet More Than This Holiday

BioShock 2 Screen

There are definitely some must have titles this Holiday season, but it’s not the barrage of greatness we’ve seen in years past. With all the delays, it turns out that Spring 2010 will be stronger than what’s coming out this Fall and Winter. Today, 2K announced a February 9th release date for BioShock 2. Couple that with other huge releases like Assassins Creed 2 and God of War 3 and you have a stacked time frame.

Time and hands-on play will determine which season ultimately gets the better releases. I’m leaning towards this Holiday for more quality titles, such as Halo 3 ODST, Modern Warfare 2 and Uncharted 2, but the Spring will have a larger quantity of big name games. That’s fine by me since it’ll give me a chance to actually get through all of those games instead of rushing on to others. I heart video games.

Assassin’s Creed 2 Teaser

Do you have any idea what this means? I know it is the Portrait of the Vitruvian Man and that was the Renaissance time period. Maybe we get to kick some ass in the 1500’s? Either way, prepare to be cock teased.
