If you have not heard of the Angry Video Game Nerd, he is well, a nerd who got famous rather quickly for his vulgar reviewing of old games and consoles. Here he takes on Bible games. Let’s just say he doesn’t turn the other cheek and honor thy shitty game.
Some AVGN installments are much better than others, but there here is a classic. There were so many NES pieces of shit and he hits it on the head. Its amazing how popular this guy has gotten. In under a year he has gone to almost cult status.
I try to catch every episode of the AVGN and some are better than others. When he takes on a game of this magnitude, its worth paying attention. He has a strong belief that SMB3 is Satanic. How does he come to this conclusion? Just watch. Many curses, so put on the headphones if you are at work.
I regularly watch the AVN’s episodes and most of them are funny, some more than others. He has strayed away from his original formula now that he has gotten very popular and his shows have not been as entertaining and feel forced. That is until he trashed probably the worst peripheral in gaming history. Welcome back Angry Video Game Nerd to the land of funny.
We all used to sneak this magazine into school and some of us got detention for it, but hell, when you were the only kid who could beat The Legend of Zelda because you had all the secrets. AVGN voices his feelings. Right or wrong, you know they are going to make you laugh.
There was a time in the early 80’s where there were very little rules and guidelines for developing and manufacturing video games. I would not recommend watching this one at work.
