It looks like Infinity Ward has a nasty problem on their hands. On the heels of the Javelin glitch fix, we now are seeing mass reports of unlimited ammo and no reloading permeating through the Xbox Live landscape. If you want to see how it all goes down, take a look at the video above.
From what we’re hearing, this issue mainly affects the Xbox 360 version of the game. It can easily spread through a match if one person is glitched, so beware. For the time being, stick to play Spec Ops with friends or some other game’s multiplayer until Infinity Ward can get a handle on the situation.
This happened me yesterday playing Domination in the Rust map. Unlimited ammo made for everybody running around just rapid firing grenade launchers everywhere. I died about 100 times in about 5 mins. Needless to say, it sucked! Now if I were the only one to have it…. *evil laugh & rubs hands*
Sorry, unrelated but…. Is there anyway that you can play multiplayer on Xbox live with two people with gold memberships from the same Xbox console. I know that there are some games you can do it with and some you can't but I would have thought a stand up game like COD would have this feature… Would love to know if anyone can tell me how.

Yeah…. one of the joys of CoD4 and MW2: no co-op (except in SpecOps)
This glitch along with the 'private' matchmaking glitch has made MW2 mutliplayer just about unplayable…
Also everyone running around with shottys..makes NO SENSE at all to get one shot by a shotgun from across the map
Good news tho is the patch coming very soon (hope so anyways)
I still play MW2 ground war. Every now and then, ill be redirected to Rust. This is what I do: When the screen to choose your class comes up when you are in the game, press the B button. then press A after you move the cursor over the Leave game option. Then try to play ground war again. Most likely, you wont be redirected to Rust again.
Problem solved. Now we just need a new patch to fix the issue, and we can all live happily ever after.
I rember when I first played with unlimited ammo. Sniper and claymores. I got 52 kills and died 20 times. I was AWSOME
