If you’re like me, you usually do all your holiday shopping thirty minutes before actually giving the gift. Not this year, though – you’ll be prepared, thanks to Loot Ninja’s Holiday Gift Guide. After all, we’re here to help, so if you’re wondering what to get a PC gamer for the holidays, snag something on this list – they’re sure to love it.

Roccaforte – Ultimate Game Desk – http://www.roccafortesales.com
When my ten year old Ikea desk started showing signs of aging, I started looking for an alternative that was both high quality and affordable. After seeing the Roccaforte Ultimate Game Desk given high praise in PC Gamer magazine, I knew I had to get my hands on one. Considering I spend most of my free time at my desk, it was important that it be both comfortable and practical. The Roccaforte desk has tons of leg room and an adjustable keyboard tray to help stop me from getting so uncomfortable after marathon sessions of gaming. It’s also sleek, stylish, and sexy to look at, and probably the best investment I’ve made into my gaming setup in a long time.

Logitech G19 Gaming Keyboard – http://www.logitech.com
My initial reaction to a $200 keyboard was “it better be able to play porn on it”. And you know what? You can. I’m not sure what kind of practical use that is, but the color LCD on this bad boy lets you watch videos and run any number of apps on it as well – see what song is playing, read RSS feeds, check emails, or how much RAM you’re using without even having to minimize the game you’re in. Plus, it’s built like a rock.

Logitech G500 Gaming Mouse – http://www.logitech.com
Comfort is a big factor in a mouse, and the form factor on the Logitech G500 mouse is the same one they’ve been using for years. I first fell in love with the design when I purchased a Logitech MX518, and the G500 is nothing but an improvement over that model. A number of buttons, adjustable sensitivity, on-board game profile storage, and adjustable weights to fine tune the way the mouse moves – it’s the proverbial ying to the G19′s yang.

Razer eXactMat Duo – http://www.razerzone.com
What may appear to be a simplistic mouse pad at first glance is anything but that – the Razer eXactMat is the most perfect surface I’ve ever used. It’s a solid metallic surface that allows the mouse to glide over top, and the padded rest keeps my manly (yet sensitive) hands from becoming too fatigued.

Turtle Beach EarForce HPX 5.1 Headphones – http://www.turtlebeach.com
These headphones introduced me to exactly what I was missing out on with the plethora of low quality stereo headphones I had been using. Being able to hear sounds in a game from 360 degrees around your character is a distinct advantage, especially in games like Left 4 Dead 2. They’re comfortable enough for long gaming sessions, and large enough to accommodate my over-sized cranium.
Dragon Age: Origins – Review Excerpt:
If you’re a fan of Bioware games or just classic RPGs in general, you’ll want to grab Dragon Age, if you haven’t already. The game stands as a testament that Bioware can still evolve and refine their tried and true formula for story based games. While it doesn’t do much in the way of groundbreaking mechanics, everything the game does do has been polished to a shine and then some. Solid animations, impressive graphics, a sleek and near flawless interface, all backed by an epic and cinematic score make it my favorite game I’ve played this year, if my favorite RPG in recent memory.

I'd also like to suggest Plants vs. Zombies. You can play it on virtually any system and it's addicting as all fuck.
