Star Wars holds a special place in my heart. Not just because I had to endure being shoved in school lockers most of my early life due to the fondness I have for the franchise, but because I’ve probably watched the movies and played the games thousands of times over.
If the prospect of a new Star Wars game gets your midichlorians in motion, then you’ll probably want to watch Spike’s VGA show this year, where LucasArts is said to be unveiling a new game. We’ll have to wait for the show to find out what the game itself is, but until then we’ll just have to speculate. A new Jedi Knight game? Battlefront 3? Maybe a brand new, adult focused Star Wars game in the vein of Batman: Arkham Asylum (hey, I can dream, can’t I?) The VGAs will air on December 12th, at 8PM Eastern time, so set your DVRs accordingly.
I can only wish of another Jedi Power Battles game..

I really hope that it is another jedi knight or knights of the old republic game. I’m a little young so i never got to experience those games when they were on the x-box. i just really want a game that i can make whatever jedi i want, that is my ideal star wars game.
The Jedi Knight actually was a PC game first, and the story itself was started in a Doom-clone called Dark Forces. Then the second game (the first Jedi Knight game) came out and used a version of the Quake engine or something, and the other two were on the Xbox. The first Jedi Knight game is a bit dated and hard to play now though =\
I’d like a sequel to Force Unleashed, personally. Without the ridiculous menu loading times.

+1. I loved the X-Wing game on my old N64. If they came out with a good version of that for the 360 I would definitely shell out some coin for it.
