Patches are very new to PSP games. Since the launch of the PSPgo, Minis, and most games as downloads, Sony now allows developers to patch portable games just like consoles. How sweet. LittleBigPlanet is the first to take advantage of this. Just how do you patch the game, you ask? Well, let me tell you.
- Make sure your WLAN switch is ON
- Highlight the game UMD icon on your PSP XMB
- Hit Triangle
- Hit Update
- Follow prompts, rub your tummy and pat your head
It’s not too tough, but it’s more steps than just updating a game on your Xbox 360 or PS3. Overall, I am happy that developers can update PSP games so we aren’t stuck with major glitches. Hopefully every game doesn’t need day 1 patches now though…
