I guess I better reinstall Diablo II on my MacBook Pro because Blizzard confirmed the game will not be shipping in 2010. Put all your hopes and dreams on the back burner. Speaking to Techland, Blizzard’s executive vice president of game design, Rob Pardo, had this to say:
I think it’s safe to say that, yeah, (Diablo III) is not going to be out next year.
Pardo went on to admit that Blizzard has a pattern of announcing their games way too early, a sentiment in which I fully agree. But hey, at least we’re getting StarCraft II in 2010… unless Blizzard puts one of their famous delays on the project.

Didn’t you hear? Diablo 3, StarCraft, and Duke Nukem Forever are going to be released as a 3 pack, tentatively scheduled for the week of Christ’s return.
