The first live edition of 1 vs 100 on Xbox Live premiered last night and I sat down to play. I had nothing better to do on a Friday night and wanted to a change of pace after tooling around the Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Beta on PS3. If you even remotely enjoyed last season of 1 vs 100, you’ll love the changes.

A new leveling system was put into place, so you can try to reach level 50 by the amount of points you score. For every level you reach, you unlock a new dance move, if you’re into that thing. They’re all pretty funny, but just filler for the main trivia show. The big addition, really, is 12 Achievements for 200 points. I got through about half of them last night during my 1.5 hours of playing. Not too shabby.

I highly recommend everyone gives 1 vs 100 a look on your Xbox 360. Extended Play runs every half hour from 8pm to midnight, with the live show where one person takes on the mob starting at 10pm on Friday evenings. It’s free, so how can you really go wrong?
